To all —-

I know that as the year goes on, fashion gets more sophistacated, sassy, colorful, stylish, and oh others will say too that they are weird or out of this world. hahahaa Oh well, with my big size (happy size 15 now) ican’t say i will go with fashion.  Am not vain when it comes to fashion.  Fashion for me means i wear what i like to wear and what i feel comfortable to wear.  If you feel like wearing shorts and a back bearing top – and someone will say yuck – oh i don’t care.  So wht? i felt like wearing one today — so better close your eyes if you don’t like to see me. Yaps, that’s me.

But the coming year, i will work hard in losing my excess pounds so that i can wear the fashionable BabyPhat Shoes and clothes so that next holiday i will be able to wear one. But for those of you who have healthy model-like bodies, check out Baby Phat for their wonderfully designed holiday clothes.  Their styles are simply elegant and i can see alot of celebrities wearing their style. Slept very late because after i dc i declutter my bedroom especially my bed. hahahaa so i ended up sleeping around 2 am.  When morning came, i wish to sleep longer but sleep ran away as i was feeling alert.  Maybe because am thinking that today is the last day of the year 2008.  Isn’t that great?

Am not going to cook a lot today not because we don’t ahve anything to cook.  But my mom just felt that we will just have a very simple bueno noches by just eating some fruits and the biko.  So right now, we are doing the latik while the we are cooking the pilit.  Am sure in two hours the biko is reading for cooling and by dinner time tonight it’s ready for eating.  So am goingto eat some after setting aside a small mound for my sister. 

After breakfast, i started the movie of Piolo Pascual and Donita Rose, 9 Mornings.  It was a nice Christmas movie.  We have it paused around 5 times because while Dimple and i are watching movie, my mom was very busy dusting, wiping with wet cloth the top of the lockers and also the windows and decluttering dimple’s stuff.  It’s new year, you know…so it’s like we always have this kind of cleaning every before New yaer comes.

We are done with lunch.  I let dimple cooked some pancit canton and i also include in it a handful of spring beans so am full now.  It’s good time for sleeping but i decided to check my mailboxes for some assignments.  Glad i checked coz i found one.  Thank be to God.  It sounds promising, you know.  One is better than zero. 

 Gift giving is not yet over.  Though Christmas day is past, some people are still giving gifts this new year.  Caroling does not even stop until the Three Kings.  After that, just a couple more weeks Valentines will be around so another time of gift giving.  My wish this time from my guy is a nice ladies watch so am introducing him to Nixon watches so that he can order online and the delivery be done before the Heart’s Day.  I hope he will be a generous guy this time so that he will not be tagged as as the “imaginary guy only.”  He knows i call him that and he does not like it.   Oh i love checkign out these watches these days.  There are so many savy, cute, and trendy watches for ladies.  HOpe i will get one by February.

Am off now because the smell of the sweetened latik is so tempting.

I can say that their wedding was also an awaited moment for me and my classmates in the sense that we gonna see Byrn march down the aisle with his beautfiul bride, but also we classmates (MMA Batch 1990) will get to see each other again.  There are still many of us who are here in the Philippines this time but we seldom get together unless we really plan for it that we have to meet at a certain time.  Though we have scheduled several reunions in the past 2 years, we still did not have the perfect attendance because not all of our batchmates are here in the Philippines.

So let’s talk of the wedding.  I arrived at the Pearlmont Inn with Fermel a lil bit past 9.  And the groom was there waiting at the lobby with a big smile.  Beautiful kaayo ang groom…Promise! hahahaha. I did want to photo him but my mind was set into changing my attire as there were already many visitor miling around the area.  Nanette was already there.  I think she was the first who arrived or maybe her and Meriam together because when i came out of the rest room, clothes changes, they were already there.  We settled ourselves on the table we want to be during the program but after awhile i went up the stage to take photo of the decorations, the cake, and everything up there.  But in mind too, i want to take a close up photo of the beautiful groom.  The beautiful bride was still in the hotel room so i did not join the group waiting outside the door.  One thing that really attracted me to come up the stage is their collage of their sweetheart days photos -

- feelign kaayo si Byrn that i also think that it looks like they were just playing.  I was really wishing that all classmates were there to witness the program but i know those abroad can’t make it.  Adn those who are sitll in the Philippines, some far some near and each are tied up to their own schedules. Haiii Nice na kaayo among plano ni Melody that Saturday then when i called her up 7 am Sunday, she told me she can’t make it coz the baby has to be brought to the hospital.  Julito is here in iligan. Yes, he’s here but he did not make it. Ambut ngano.  I was not able to talk with him on the phone. Nelson was not able to make it — they have a family reunion daw.  My sis is here in Iligan too but her tummy is too big that she will have a hard time travelling by bus.  She’s just not so comfortable at all.  So it ended up only me and Fermel travelled from iligan to Cagayan de Oro.  Cagayan folks were many too but only Meriam and Nanette made it there.  Ambut aha pud sila.  Maybe..ay dili nalang ko mag say. hahahaha basta Nanette and Meriam were there and nalipay nako.  The more i was happy when Novielou and Joel arrived.  It was my first time to see Novielou after graduation in March 1990 so pa picture pud ko with her uy. hehehee Here’s the proof -

NL and Joel left before the program was over so we had our picture taken as a remembrance – for friendster – for classmates all over the world!  I will also post the some batch pictures here even though i have posted it na in my friendster account –

a photo with Ma’am Macarayo.  Ug dili na sya kaila namo. hahaha.  Or maybe it’s just me wala niya nailhan.  She asked me who i was and she really said — wala na jud ko kaila nimo uy. Dako naman ka kaayo!.  Nagkatawa lang ko hapit ko mosumpay ug, yeah mam am big but am beautiful gihapon. hahahaha nalingaw jud ko!  I was expecting there would be more MMA teachers (our teachers) but i realized later si Ma’am M lang kay ninang diay siya. One of Byrn’s cousin commented, “why Ma’am M?  Gipakaon siguro na ug ayo si Byrne sa una ay kay gihimo man jud ug ninang ni B,” nagkatawa lang ko naminaw. 

When the marching started, murag tense si Byrne but not so obvious because he is always smiling.  The bride is in the other room waiting for the time to march down the aisle.  Sya man ang pinakalast nag march.  Si Byrn nag blush when it was his turn to march down. hahaha

The homily was done by Pastor Baliton, Byrn’s uncle.  I think sa among table wala mi naminaw. Nag homily pud mi ug amo-a. hahaha.  But am sure Byrn and Ann naminaw jud ug ayo. kay naa gud sila sa front jud ni Pastor.  When it was the turn of the judge, naka paminaw nami kay striking man kaayo sya ug question. She told byrn that he still can back out if he wanted to. hahahaha.  Am sure Byrn will not do that.  He was all ready for the wedding day and very much ready to become a hubby to Ann…and am sure the same with Ann.  That day was their moment na jud to get married.

After the reception, we did not leave right away like most of the visitors did because we still want to chika2 with Byrn and Ann after the closing prayer.  And we just did that.  Nagpa photo napud akong kauban nga mga girls with Ann coz i had already a photo of me and Ann before the program ended.  Baga kaayo medyo akong fes uy. hahaha Oh well i got near her during the photo session so i stole a shot of me and her.

I almost forgot to mention about the place of the wedding — it was a posh place. Engrande ang dating ha! Murag royal palace man ang front sa hotel.

We left the receptional hall past 1 and we proceed to Lim Kit Kai to kill the time. I thought i would stay over the night but there was not much thing going on to stay so nanguli ra pud mi ni Fermel. For now, i still dunno when we could be together once again for a mini-reunion.

I never imagined that a day will come when my daughter will be a partner in crime when it comes to the use of the computer.  I wish she will be a baby kiddo forever but nahhh she is getting bigger and bigger each day and at 11 years old, she can stay online for more than 8 hours if i won’t tell her to stop playing an online game.  And she is not only playing but she is also chatting. Chatting and playing. So later, i will tell her about this chat room called Anime Chat City. For sure she will be interested. I don’t know where did she get the interest of anime stuff and i confess am no fun of that. She has several albums here with anime images and even her friendster is full of anime stuff. I can’t stand it. I want her to be normal like i used to when i was growing up. Another mom friend told me that she is experiencing the same kiddo’s manifestations of loving anime stuff and she she told me that i should not be so alarmed about it. Our kids are still normal but the anime is just so cool these days. So, there’s nothing i can do about it. right?  Am sure Dimple will be so eager to check on that later. hehehehe  I will be a kind mommy today and it;s the granny that will be annoyed. hahahaa

When we went shopping at SM Mall the other day, my friend and i pruchased a new water heater.  Not just really a water heater but the dual one – hot and cold water dispenser.  The reason why the thing was broken because her nephews are so lazy to refill the water while the hot water switch is on.  So it burned the plastic inside thus destroying the heater altogether.  So she purchased a new one and we were really advised not to turn on the hot water mode if the water is not sufficient. 

When we arrived home i told her to check on tankless water heater on how it will work because if it’s possible she can purchase one for her bathroom so that Baby Prince will enjoy warm water shower in the evening.  It takes so much trouble to boil water in a kettle and carry the kettle into the bathroom .  So am sure she will enjoy this type of water heater.  I got one like this in my 2nd home in China and i think it is safe.  It lessens electricution accidents.  So i will check this out if they have one like this in SM the next time we go there.

Got this in my mailbox -

Prosecutions began yesterday against six people accused of deliberately contaminating milk supplies with a toxic chemical believed to have made as many as 300,000 infants sick and killed at least six.   Complete news  in here.

Am a faithful customer of Sanlu products while there years back – i just love their suan nai or the sour milk.  I drink that milk daily, several times a day daily.  Too bad it’s the culprit of this melamine thing.  OH well, may the guilty be punished.

if you step on that bamboo floats that will ferry you to the where the water falls, it will naturally produce a squeaky sound and makes you think the floater is very old and will break any minute if the people on it are more than 20. It’s really scary because it was rumored that there are crocodiles in this area.
