Joys in Life

July 21 – 27, 2008

It was my birthday week.  I was a bit busy online greeting bday friends and also chatting with long lost friends let me say. But anway, the highlight of the week was my 1 day leave from work on July 23 which was Wednesday – i jst spent it at home and a lunch date with a girl friend and an early evening chat with Nelson in YM and on the phone.  I also spent the morning hours watching movies and after lunch hours sleeping coz i was not feeling well.
Thursday I was back at work and all things were just like the other day.  The Function room was fixed in a new arrangement to make it look a bit spacious than it was before.  My boss wanted that current arrangement because just adjacent to the Function room was a kitchen.
Friday – i started my day at the office filling up forms for an uncle.  But it was stopped the moment i knew that the Nursing Board result has come out.  I then tried to inquire what was the school rating, who passed, and who did not not make it.  The 57% rate of our school was a bit low and not as good as the previous years.  So i was sort of down, but in a way I was also happy because we got the top 7th in the National ranking.  I just cant help to compare MVC, which is my alma mater and MSH College, my workplace now.  At times i would question my loyalty, but really it’s not that real serious.  It’s a personal matter.  I just want at times to feel very happy for both schools for both have developed me of who i become now though MSH College is still going on developing me to become a better worker and person.  The cooking session made me forgot what i felt then the sumptious lunch was great — that i really ended up very tired when i went home before 4 pm.  And instead of going to the city to do some palengke, i went to sleep.
Saturday missed church though not planned because of the bad headache but in the evening, i spent it washing my mountain of laundry. 
Sunday morning, i went out to buy something in the palengke and when i came back, spent time singing and watching half of the movie – Chup chup ke, an indian movie.  12 noon i was already in the office to print out the hand-outs for our 1 pm class.  We were so sleepy in class.  We ended the class at 3:30 then Girlie and I were off to the city.
