SAHM-One Speaks # 3

Here’s the question for today:

How do you get yourself organized with all the left and right chores in the house? Plus a crying toddler or a demanding husband waiting his dinner to be served around you?

I’ve experienced that for some months long time ago and honestly, i did have a hard time. If am not so strong, i surely had an emotional breakdown. The situation was surprising because all people around me were not supportive especially my husband. Not just my kids were seeking my attention, there was MIL too who seeks attention and if not met, am the bad daughter in-law to the neighbors and relatives. I really dunno why my hubby could not lend a hand but still i kept it to myself and when i had enough, i had it all out to my daughter who was more than 2 years old that time. I never had quiet moments coz if one is asleep the other one is up and there is the wiwi time and the potty time. My hands are full of household chores plus the kids. I was a mommy and at the sametime housemaid. Fortunately, i was able to put off the role of being a wife.

So going back to the question, i think i did not have the chance to organize my schedule. For after 5 months 6 months i had to send Dimple back to Iligan because i can’t take it anymore.

For now? it’s ok coz my mom is still here and i just have 1 kid to raise and that’s my daughter which does not need too much care anymore coz she can understand or can do things on her own now.  So i have less stress for that matter.

@ Yen – if super mom ang role mo, i think mahirap. But if people around you could lend a hand, you will still be sane enough to have a big smile on your face kasi tension free.

@ Mitch – yeah. di maiwasan. I thought it’s just ok that just have to be me (i was a good one, the masunurin type) but di pa rin ma appreciate. but it was ok sana kung wala akong mga maliliit. Haii that was a really a challenging time for me. :D Ayaw ko na life Promise!
