My boss experienced so much loss in his car insurance policy because of some anomalies done by the personnel in that certain company.  He lost alot of personal money to the car he hit during the accident.  But after some months, the most awaited check arrived and he was able to pay the damage of the car of the other person.  But he said, when his car will be fixed he is going to look for a credible auto insurance.  I think before one decides which insurance company he will use, he will have to check it first. right?

Actually i am not familiar with any of that because i think that is a man thing. But in this manless life, i will just never wish for a car or vehicle if ever one is given for free. lol! But i know i will learn just like i learn to be a mom and dad at the same time in my daughter’s life.

August 3 – August 9, 2008

The whole week was i concentrating on finishing the teaching faculty bulletin board and by Thursday it was done but not yet open to the public.  Friday morning, the glasses were back and presto! all done.  The pressure gone.

Monday I joined an orientation seminar at the Coop Office of MSU-IIT.  It was interestinig.  I thought many of us would be there and it turned out it’s only me, my mom, and my neice. Parang special orientation. lol. But they do it naman every Monday afternoon.

Friday was just normal.  I didn’t go to the market anymore because we still have rice for the week-end and enough vegetables. but i brought hope unripe (green) Saba bananas (and i peep on it now on the plastic bag, it’s turning yellow now) and also some table bananas.  The highlight of the evening was a program sponsored by my daughter’s class so she was ready early for church.

Yesterday Saturday, i was suppose to go to church but i woke up with a very bad headache.  I really have these just when i have my periods so i won’t wonder where it came from.  It was so bad that i asked for a pain pill.  Though i missed church, i didn’t miss the contest online and I won (scroll down) $20.00.  You can read details from that post. :)  Not just that amount but also blogger friends.  I enjoyed my timke Paraiso Philippines Forum.   Before i hit the bed last night (it was very late already) i browsed for some  baby clothes for my sister’s close friend is going to give birth at the end of this month.  And am tasked to give some welcome gift for a baby boy. :-)

I think the week was just a fine one.

The time my daughter can start to eat solid foods, we fed on her veges. Mashed veges of any kind.  When she was still a toddler, there was no problem yet but she she started schooling she began to be picky on the food that she eats.  Of course she eats rice but not the vegetables.  She jst have the soup or the sabaw or the broth but not anything solid on the ulam especially if they are vegetables.   But now that she can read and understand what she’s reading, my mom gave her books about healthy eating, what good we get from a vegetables and everything – she started to be good at eating vegies even the ampalaya or the bitter gourd.  She likes ampalaya better than me.  Before she does not like eggplant or talong, but now she can tolerate it.   When it comes to meat recipes, she is not picky.  She loves just anything as long as it edible and not a bawal in our table.

Here’s a picture of her about to devour chicken strips with rice. She loves what she’s holding although she had a bad cough the time this photo was taken. :)
