Weekend Snapshot – Guess What?

Here is my entry for this week.  I want you to guess what flower is this.  The first one who can answer it right will be given 500 EC credits.

I had a fine week-end.  As usual, sunday was spent nannying.  I hope everyone of you had a great week-end!

The guessing game will be up until  Sunday .  Nobody got the right answer yet as of today Tuesday.

Another clue:

Many call this as vegetable for the poor. It grows normally tall and leaves or small oval ones.

If di pa rin makuha another clue will be up days later. :)

    @ Zel — famous kaayo na nga commodity diri sa Mindanao. The lowly green leafy vege but full of nutrients our body needs.

    @ Milet – linagpang is a dish recipe made up of grilled chicken cooked boiled in water with lots of tomatoes and spices

    I think, Luna got the answer right. My goodness Arlene, you gave us a quiz! I’m done with studies! I have researched and the closer one I found is called katurai, famously grown in the Ilocos region. It is called sesbania grandiflora. It may be called differently in different dialects. Does this tree have pods like peas?

    hay, unsa man na mommy? I was thinking flowers sa lemonsito but ingon ka lowly green leafy vege. it doesn’t look like katurai for me pud. more clue pls…hehehe

    @ eastcoast — yeah your ginger flower is so beautiful to be eaten. :) but this one can only be eaten through boiling..so it’s boiled together with the leaves.
