Weekend Snapshot – Guess What?
Here is my entry for this week. I want you to guess what flower is this. The first one who can answer it right will be given 500 EC credits.
To make it easier for you, i will give you a couple of tips:
1. Edible
2. Great for Linagpang
I had a fine week-end. As usual, sunday was spent nannying. I hope everyone of you had a great week-end!
More wsnapshot here.
LINKY LOVE TO THE FIRST COMMENTATOR:
NOTE:
The guessing game will be up until Sunday . Nobody got the right answer yet as of today Tuesday.
Another clue:
Many call this as vegetable for the poor. It grows normally tall and leaves or small oval ones.
If di pa rin makuha another clue will be up days later. ![]()

an orchid? looks almost vanilla and tasty!
By Ebie, April 21, 2009 @ 12:29 am
I think, Luna got the answer right. My goodness Arlene, you gave us a quiz! I’m done with studies! I have researched and the closer one I found is called katurai, famously grown in the Ilocos region. It is called sesbania grandiflora. It may be called differently in different dialects. Does this tree have pods like peas?
By eastcoastlife, April 21, 2009 @ 10:31 pm
It can be eaten… wonder how it tastes like. I did a post on edible flowers too.
By Kerslyn, April 22, 2009 @ 12:13 am

By admin, April 22, 2009 @ 8:52 pm
@ eastcoast — yeah your ginger flower is so beautiful to be eaten.
but this one can only be eaten through boiling..so it’s boiled together with the leaves.
By admin, April 22, 2009 @ 8:53 pm
@ Kerslyn —- sis it begins with letter M —- the boiled water with it looks like ihi daw. My dad hates this.
By admin, April 22, 2009 @ 8:55 pm
@ Indra — this is my first time to a photo of this flower and it’s so beautiful.

Hi Arlene. I’m so sorry for my late visit. Those are magnificent flowers. They must smell good too.
By admin, April 27, 2009 @ 11:44 pm
@ Rach — no problem! anytime you can drop by.
Their smell is good – the fresh malunggay smell.
