A water lock and i think its color RED is just right so it can be visible to anyone going near the area. It’s so hot today that i want to go back to where i took this photo.  My aunt is planning to go but i dunno when. Am sure am going to tag along with dimple.  An “again” experience for us. :)

@Luna — yeah it’s a pool. But i guess this water lock is for the water in their bathrooms.

Oh, that’s what a water lock looks like! I’d read something about them while researching alternative power sources, but couldn’t visualize.

And what do they use the water lock for… is it like the on/off valve for sprinklers? Love the red. Mine is up here.

It is hot in Atlanta, too!
With the drought, we are still on some water restriction.
This is an interesting LOCK, first one I’ve seen like it :)

I agree with you about the “red.”

I used a water lock also but it’s a different kind: http://blondesherry.blogspot.com/2009/06/photohunt-lock.html

Hi Bobbie — this is my first time too to see this kind of lock. But it;’s the red that really caught my attention. :)

The line is for the water in the bathrooms and comfort rooms at the public swimming pool we went to last time. :)

Thank you for the visit!

@Alice — this can be one. Right at home our water lock does not look like that. But the plastic thing i think is cheaper than the usual made of allow or iron.
