WS – The Hundred Pesos

It’s been awhile i haven’t done the shopping of vegetables because i really don’t have money for it. If i have a little to spare i just hand it to my mom and let her do the stretching. After the seminar this afternoon, i went to the city to pick up my xoom. Each penny of the money i received is already alotted for many bills but i decided to pick a hundred to buy fish. Fish! It’s been awhile i haven’t eaten or bought fish for home. So i got the hundred and this what i got:

p1010033

half kilo of Anduhaw @ P35.00

p1010034

Tomatoes @P10.00/ pack

p1010036

Lemonsito @ P5.00/pack  of (20 pcs)

p1010037

Okra P5.00 per tapok (20 pcs)

p1010039

string beans @ P5.00

p1010041

1 kilo Tamban @ P30.00 (for our cats)

The remaining change, i used it for fare in going home.   When i arrived home, i pulled out my goods and took photo of them.  I had my dinner then washed the plates, and now am here blogging. :)

Your Php100 went a long way. :) We bought some fish today, too, and besugo and danguit were priced Php120+ for half a kilo. Boy was I surprised! :D

great job! i would probably just buy a pack of tinapa (smoked fish) and tomatoes for my 100 pesos.:P during lunch earlier, my office mates and i were talking about the prices of fish nowadays. my mom bought a kilo of tangigue (4 slices) at P350 per kilo. it was too late when she realized the price, and she almost returned it (lol). i sometimes buy frozen tuna fillet at P250/kilo, ang mahal!

pwede ba sa akin na lang yung isda na para sa pusa mo, buti pa diyan, may 5 pesos na sitaw, dito saksakan ng mahal, $2.50, bukod sa tuyot na, eh sobrang payat pa!

@Willa – the one i bought for the cats makain ko din. But because mataas sya ng uric acid plus my mom marami ng mga health problems, we stopped eating the tamban. ay kung pwede lang over the bakud namin ang canada ay e hand over ko lang sa iyo ang mga string beans. hehehee

@Luna – mahal talaga pag sa big mall groceries ka mamalengke. but try to be at the talipapa or the bagsakan ng isa, that 250 will be just 80 kilos for sure.

@Tes — oo matambaka din yan. Pareho lang yan sila. That 1/2 kilos is to last til Friday uy. Di lang yan pang one day. hehehe..stretching lagi. :)
