Looking at the Sky Friday – After Burial
I come to the office a bit earlier today hoping that i would catch up a vehicle that would go to Initao. Surely i caught one and i missed the half day work because i attended the memorial service and burial of a person who is a friend since childhood and also became one of my schoolmates in highschool. I was freshmen and he was junior. His Dad was also one of my mom’s classmates in the Academy.
I purely remember him as a very friendly guy and a one that loves to tease anyone. I haven’t ever seen him being angry.
After the burial, on our way back, id like to share some photos i took. These shots were taken in a moving van so forgive if it’s a bit blurry. I took this shots through a tainted glass.
The weather was fine yet everyone have that tug of sadness felt.

Who would not be sad when Jun jun is just 37 years old. And he looks strong and tough. Anyway, God knows what was really best for him so we he went ahead of us.
Last week, Monday or Tuesday, he was here in my office to check on my computer. That was the last time i saw him alive and was able to say hi. His boss said he applied for a sickleave Tuesday. Then was brought to the hospital Monday afternoon. Wednesday morning, he was gone. The scene of him being revived in his hospital was very shocking. Many prayed. I too prayed. Hoping for a miracle, but God did not answer yes to let him live…so, we said goodbye to him this morning.
Bye Jun — see ya in the resurrection mornin! Some of your classmates were there and surely you would be happy if you have seen them last night and this mornin.
