PH theme this week is BIRD or BIRDS. I am posting late because i was not online yesterday enough to make a post. I got a few photos of birds to share and since it was taken on a weekend, i also thought of sharing this post with my OWM friends.
All these birds were taken at Opol Aviary.

As i edited the size and enhanced the colors of the birds, i realized they are beautiful and they should not be in caged. They should be flying free up in the sky to really enjoy life.
Happy weekend to all of you!

You are so right about the freedom but sometimes in order to protect their life, they have to be in the cage.
Our Weekend Memoirs
Those are absolutely beautiful. The colors are wonderful. I especially like the third with the red and purple combination.

Aren’t those birds so precious? Love the colors are radiant!
I agree with you, they should fly free!
P.S. I hope you are doing fine with your new position…( instant mom to 70 kids!)
I love the last photo. They are beautifulbut sadly they have to stay inside the cage to protect them from those who will hurt them.
Such bright colors!
@John – you are right. thank you for visiting back and playing OWM.
@sherry – that’s a purple neck lory. i love the color too and i bet i can see sadness in her eyes. i bet they don’t like to be caged. thanks for the visit!
@Mommy – i think they are wonderful birds.
It’s my first time to visit a place full of birds.
re: new position. still adjusting. last night we have to wait for the water. it did not come back. went to bed very very late (1:30 am already) so i woke up very sleepy. i am going to do my power nap in awhile.
@willa – yes they are beautiful and you are right that they have to be caged to be protected.
thank you for visiting back!
@Suzanne – thank you for the visit!
i always have the urge to free caged birds when i visit zoos and aviaries. if people would only respect life in general, there’s no need to capture these birds in order to protect them.
@Luna – yeah you are right!
