One of the many winter Olympic sports to look forward to is skiing.  I am always fascinated with skiing sports that i watch on TV.  So, I have this wish that one day i can go skiing with my friends.  There is no particular place in which this wish will come true but it can be anywhere as long as I am with friends.

Winter Olympics 2010 is now fast approaching.  It will be in February in Vancouver, Canada.  For those who are looking forward to this ski holidays, this is a red number day in their calendars.  This is a very big event for ski lovers at different levels.  I am sure that by now there are many ski enthusiasts who have already made their accommodation booking in Vancouver.

There is one thing though that disturbs me in regards to Winter Olympics 2010. because I have read of the petition to go against the ban for women to join the winter Olympics.  This is my first time to hear of a gender ban when it comes to sports that both gender can play or be good at.  So i understand if women who loves to ski are airing out their disgust on the ban.  Others even thought that this is discrimination and this should not be.  So women skiers made this petition to let women ski jump on 2010.
