SSS # 18 – Independence Day Parade

Last June 12, I joined the 113th Independence Day parade celebration. So allow me to share some of those photos. The parade started around 7 and the sun was already up, thus the beautiful shadows:

Us: the IBS group.
Those guys behind (Lyceum Peace Coprs) inspired us to march under the sun ^^

The Armed Forces of the Philippines  that are stationed in our city.

It was my first time to join to join the parade ever but not my first time to witness the Independence Day program. With friends, I enjoyed the morning and for a moment, I was reminded again to feel proud of being born and serving this country whom I called, My Philippines.

Looks like a late post intended for Independence Day thoughts, but i failed to share these photos the previous month.

The second photo, especially, shimmers with shadows!

    SHADOW, BE TRUE

My shadow has come out to play.
Oh, shadow, please don’t run away!
    Stay here by my side,
    Pretend you’re my bride—
Be true to me now and alway!
