I remember one night when Mommy Ruby told me via YM that she is giving away domains to the top 3 commentor of a certain post in The Domain Angel. I then checked out right away and left a comment. I was really thinking i’ll miss the spot but luckily i got the third domain. I was so happy. 
I already have 4 active blogs that includes that one that I have for my daughter which I started in January early this year. But of the 4, only 3 are being updated at least several times in a week. Aside from the 4 blogs, i have 2 others blogs that still exist but has not been updated in a long time – my first blog and my scrap blog. But inspite of that neglect, i still want want to have a fashion related blog. Although am not a certified fashionista but i knew that I have an eye for beautiful clothes, footwears and accessories. So i named the new domain fashionistainme.info. My first choice of domain name was fashiontrip but it was no longer available.
In a day or two, www.fashionistainme.info (fashionista in me) will be up in the blog world.
Now this is not easy. This is going to be a hard task but i will try my best to finish it. Winner or not at least I have to say my piece. A person will really do everything just so he or she can bag a prize. As i’ve said manalo man o hindi – here’s what i can say of Orman’s blog.
Thinking on about how i know GandaEverSoMuch brought me back to MBS3 even in Cagayan de Oro last year. That was my first time to see Orman, the ganda ever kapatid of Avel whom i met for the first time in General Santos City during the MBS2. We were not introduced personally but being in a bloggers crowed one can somehow felt being connected due to the fact that you share something in common with everyone – and that is blogging. That was the first time i heard of Orman’s blog.
There are millions of blogs in the blogosphere and to each his own. But Orman’s blog is a very unique one. There’s something in it that makes one keeps coming back. His writing style can draw a crowd to a post. If you check out his blog, the first thing that will greet you is a smiling frog. Yes, a smiling frog that made me wonder – why frog? Bakit baki? Dahil ba ang baki ay komokokak? Kokak! So i presume that Orman’s blog is a journal of his thoughts based on his everyday life – be his day sunny, rainy, stormy, gloomy, wintry, etc. he will write about it. He shares what makes his day sunny and what makes his day gloomy or rainy. This kind of sharing enables his readers to connect with him easily.
I can state many reasons why i keep coming back to Gandaeversomuch {dot} com site, but i will only share the important ones:
1. Maki chika! Not really but am drawn to Orman’s writing style. His post brings a smile to my face. His posts are full of life.
2. I can relate to his heartbreak posts that i can save some of those tips so that in the future if ever i fall in love again, i got some notes to glance on in case the journey turns bumpy.
3. His ever bongga Blogsary contest! Because he is giving away fabulous prizes I decided to join. Being one of the lucky winners in the 1st and 2nd week, I am now craving for more.

I cannot remember when was the last time i won a blog contest but last week i posted here my entry for the Week 1 Blogsary Contest at Ganda Ever So Much blog and luckily i was one of the winners! When one hears the word winner for sure it makes one excited! No matter how big or small the prize is — being a winner gives one a happy feeling.

While i was browsing for the latest quick weight loss tea, i come across this personality quiz. I got the info through my email and just forgot about it. Good thing i cleaned up my mailbox and come across the email again. I still have second thoughts of joining because i don’t write well. My post’s title is the theme of the writing competition that is on going now at Lainy’s blog to mark her blogging anniversary.
Now all i have to do to be able to qualify to this hot blogsary celebration is – i have to write about my blogging journey. I had the whole day to think of how should i start or where should is start. So, let me start.
I started blogging, actually journaling online in September 14, 2006 in my friendster account. I got interested to start that because i’ve already been reading many other blogs, especially of Mitch, but i can’t bring myself to start one, not until someone urged me to do so when he read my posts in my friendster account. With the encouragement, of Rhoen, amd with the inspiration of Mitch, i started making a blog for Dimple which i later deleted because i integrated my posts with my main personal blog. I would say personal because it is a free wp hosted blog and money making is not allowed there. Earning is not my aim when i first started blogging. I find my blog as an outlet of what i think on anything and what i would like to share. With my first personal blog, i began to blog hop through Mitches visitors and that was almost the time too i joined a Filipina mommy community
From that point of blogging, i then started my photoblog in May 2007. I was getting the hang of blogging and am enjoying it very much. I then started to meet bloggers who earn while blogging. I then thought maybe i should try. I did not wish to earn much money, i just want to prove that is it really true to earn dollars by blogging – so my blogspot blog was born. In 4 months time, i already got 4 blogs to maintain. Meaning, i got hooked! lol!
It is almost 2 years now that i have been blogging, and i can say i enjoyed every minute of it. Talking of perks i got in blogging aside from oppsss – there are lots but i would just like to mention some major ones as they help me spice up my blogging life.
1. I met a lot of online friendship that continue even offline. Special and huge thanks to Kerslyn for helping me me realized my first personal domain and later free hosted another personal domain for me.
2. Another huge thanks to Mommy Ruby for being an angel by making my freehosted blogspot blog into a domain one. And then later she offered very affordable hosting so she enabled me to wp hosted my blogspot blog.
3. I feel i have developed blogger friendship throughout these years and they are many to mention yet i have them each one in my mind and heart – they inspired me to continue blogging as i got ideas on what to blog about, they let me learn blogging etiquettes (if there are some) lol and they help my blogs in one way or another get famous in the blogosphere. (yeah am famous) lol!
4. Mitch played a big role in my blogging life. I dunno if she believes me when i say that but really through her personal blog, i was inspired to start my own. She introduced me to Pinoy Moms Network where i met a lot of great moms and also to Paraiso Philippines where i won my first $50.00 cold cash by just posting endlessly (non-stop) for 8 long hours.
5. Through blogging, i got active in the forum site of Paraiso Philippines, a travel information site, that made me able to attend the 2nd Mindanao Blogger Summit in General Santos City in October last year by sponsoring all my expenses. That event made me met the author of this competition in personal. Actually i only met her there and we talked a lot during the night of the Tuna Cocktail party. That time she informed me of her on going contest of which i become one of the winners later.
6. Rhoen, another longtime friend, is the one who gave me the strong push to start blogging. Or else i won’t be blessed by what i enumerated above.
Now, let me congratulate the active blogger girl in the person of Lainy. I wish her more success in blogging and real life. Personally i also have to thank blogging or else i will never have the chance to take these photos with her:
