Happy Happy Happy!

Because there are already a couple of tasks assigned to it, am so happy the blog is now back to the system.  It has been out for several days due to the host provider.  I can just imagine the stress Mommy Ruby went through but am glad that it’s over now and all the blogs she is hosting is now back online.  All we have to do now is make a backup of our blog. Since i dunno how to backup, all i will do is copy and paste the post url.   It’s the easiest way i guess. =

Oh blogging life!

I think there are already a million bloggers in the whole world.  And in that million, maybe half of them have more than one blog.  Even big companies now have their own blogs. Someone would ask you what’s a blog and how to start it – but once they are in, in no time, they already have more than one blog. I even have a friend who got more than 40 blogs. She’s a fulltime blogger and a great one and she is loving what she is doing.

If you ask me now how many blogs do i have, oh well i got 7. And two of that just started this year and of that two was just started last month. I think if i am a full time blogger, i would have more than 7 blogs. Of the seven, I have a photoblog, health blog, travel blog, fashion blog, a scrap blog, an all day blog…and what more? hehehehe Aside from this seven, there is one blog where i co-host a weekend meme.

My Globe Tattoo was borrowed days ago.  I just let it be because i am not using it regularly.  No funds to buy credit eh.  This afternoon i decided to buy a credit for unlimitted connection for 24 hours.  Only to discover that the one who borrowed my tattoo went home to Cotabato and it she left the tattoo with unlimited use until tomorrow afternoon.  So the credit i got today can be used tomorrow yet.  That means i can be online the whole weekend — from the dorm or even from the office!

If Dimple will be home on Sunday then for sure she will be happy also.

That my lost posts, a total of 7 months has been retrieved (99.9%. All i need to do now is checked the few 1% lost paid posts. Never mind the personal blahs.

I have so much blahs today but am still feeling groggy so i will be making some more updates later this weekend.

Now this is not easy.  This is going to be a hard task but i will try my best to finish it.  Winner or not at least I have to say my piece.  A person will really do everything just so he or she can bag a prize.  As i’ve said manalo man o hindi – here’s what i can say of Orman’s blog.

Thinking on about how i know  GandaEverSoMuch brought me back to MBS3 even in Cagayan de Oro last year.  That was my first time to see Orman, the ganda ever kapatid of Avel whom i met for the first time in General Santos City during the MBS2.  We were not introduced personally but being in a bloggers crowed one can somehow felt being connected due to the fact that you share something in common with everyone – and that is blogging.  That was the first time i heard of Orman’s blog.

There are millions of blogs in the blogosphere and to each his own. But Orman’s blog is a very unique one. There’s something in it that makes one keeps coming back. His writing style can draw a crowd to a post. If you check out his blog, the first thing that will greet you is a smiling frog. Yes, a smiling frog that made me wonder – why frog? Bakit baki? Dahil ba ang baki ay komokokak? Kokak! So i presume that Orman’s blog is a journal of his thoughts based on his everyday life – be his day sunny, rainy, stormy, gloomy, wintry, etc. he will write about it. He shares what makes his day sunny and what makes his day gloomy or rainy. This kind of sharing enables his readers to connect with him easily.

I can state many reasons why i keep coming back to Gandaeversomuch {dot} com site, but i will only share the important ones:

1.  Maki chika!  Not really but am drawn to Orman’s writing style.  His post brings a smile to my face.  His posts are full of life.

2.  I can relate to his heartbreak posts that i can save some of those tips so that in the future if ever i fall in love again, i got some notes to glance on in case the journey turns bumpy.

3.  His ever bongga Blogsary contest!  Because he is giving away fabulous prizes I decided to join.  Being one of the lucky winners in the 1st and 2nd week, I am now craving for more.

Mabuhay ka Orman!

I wish you another year of a very colorful blogging life.  May you continue to inspire others through your writing.

I started moving my things after work this afternoon. At 8:30 all the moving and the arranging were done. Am so tired right now but i felt happy of my accomplishments. It’s not easy to move down from the 4th floor of the building and has to go up the 3rd floor of another building. There was only one bag that really drained my strength. I put in all my folded clothes (all as in all) in one big bag and that was the heaviest. I just carry with all my hanged clothes as it is and placed it right away in the new locker assigned to me. Good thing that the elevator goes up to the 4th floor so it lessened the time in my moving.

I moved into a pastel green-colored room. The locker is bigger than i had in the other building. My bed becomes taller because i put in two mattresses in case my daughter comes for a visit. To minimize the space i just have to put the two mattresses together. I need a foot stool to get to the top of my bed.

99% of my stuff are already here. What’s left over there are a few foot wears and my bathroom stuff. I also need to help moving our office stuff in the morning before reporting to work. I felt a little bad for not helping Ma’am JD in moving the big stuff but i really have to stay in the office most of the time today.

I really wish i have my camera and i could have document everything in pictures. Oh well i should stop wishing now and work hard so that i can buy a new point and shoot camera in a month or two.

Oh i want to note that I have stayed in the 4th floor of the MSH Annex Building from middle of November until June 7, 2010. I will never forget my stay there. Many if not all are good times – especially when i behold the many beautiful sunsets and sunrises.

The previous Girls’ Dormitory is in the 4th floor of this building.

I wish i could show where is our new dorm now but just can’t.  Maybe in later months.

As much as i want to update daily, i find myself lagging behind of what should be done.  I feel my personal time is not as much anymore when i started blogging and when i decided that i have to maintain 3 domains on top of my normal day job.  Back then i could stay up late at nights to update all blogs but now the situation is not like that anymore.  But even then am trying to catch up as much as i can.

There are times when i have so much to say but I am away from the computer so what i do is jot down the ideas and try to make about them later.  But when i do so, my fingers just rested on the keys and not doing a thing.

There are also times when i really have to crack my head to write something so that i can do the tasks such as reading and commenting about foosball tables which am sure will help many households out there. Doing this kind of jobs at times made me want to shop online because the prices are way better than going out to the shopping mall if you have to add up the hassle that you get when purchasing something.

Shopping is another way to beat stress  but i’ve been there before.  I ended up buying things i really don’t need.  So going back to what am talking about –

Summer months is almost over and i haven’t been away yet.  I feel i need a break – even a short break to rejuvinate my old self. -)  Anyway that’s a longing and i hope it will happen soon.  I really need to get away if i want to improve in my blogging activities.

Now i really have my hands full!  Should i slow down or just go on with it?  I can’t promise for tomorrow so let me do things one day at a time.

As said, life is what we make it and  I find mine very challenging.

There was not a single photo made (oh there are a few) shots of my nephew doing fashion poses for me. lol! But they are not worth sharing ya know or my brother will kill me.

It was a quiet Easter weekend. I was at home since Friday (supposedly Thursday evening too but one student slept in the dorm so i was with her) and the whole weekend.  It’s like i missed the tube so much that i spent every waking house sitting infront of the TV.  I did love watching the old TV shows and in relation to the Easter mood, all shows portrayed the spirit of love and forgiveness.

For 3 nights, Dangerous Life has been shown.  I missed the one on Thursday evening and Friday evening did not watch the whole of it but watched the last part last night.  It showed what really happened during the end of Marcos regime in 1986.  It feels good to have a glimpse and knowledge on what really took place that week and that particular day.  I was still too young to update myself with the news through newspaper during that time.  And 1986? Hmm we still don’t own a TV.

I know that am a Marcos fan all my life (i was born at the height of his reign and i was still to young to understand corruption and martial law during the election in 1986).  I know in my heart that Marcos was a great leader but he should have learned that he can’t be a President forever.  The movie depicted that he cried leaving the country that night (9:05 pm) and i really dunno if he really cried in real.  Maybe he cried most especially the first lady.

Other shows made me cry and other shows made me laugh out loud with all the kids at home.  My bro and sis inlaw were in camiguin and their kids were left at home.  So the house was full packed with the kids and it was sort of noisy.  My nook was the living room because my daughter wanted to have the privacy of my bedroom all to herself.  She’s thinking it’s her room now since am staying in the dorm. lol

Anyway, back to normal work life tomorrow (Monday, April 5) but am planning to make a leave.  There will be a meeting up in my mom’s hometown and it concerns the family (maternal side) so am going as no one will go.

Tuesday, i will be back online to update this.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend!  My fellow workers who went on a tour sure did have a great time traveling and seeing places.  I can’t wait to hear their stories when i get back to work on Tuesday.

It’s been quite awhile that i haven’t changed the look of my word press blogs.  I remember months back i tried browsing from different sites but did not find anything that caught my fancy for my 3 wp blogs.  Yesterday, i come across this wp blog themes that are free for grabs.    They have almost seven thousand templates and i am sure that i can find one for my blogs.  Checking out the front page, i already saw what i want to grab for a wp photoblog.  Sad thing my photoblog is in blogspot. But i will try to check if they have templates that are convertible to a blogspot program.

You may check it out guys.  They have 12 theme specifications in 12 color categories.  Whenever i browse, i always check out nature , flowers, music, and food designs.  Check out their flowers, there is one template there that is great for photoblog.  The one called Flowers 20.

The site i gave earlier is very user friendly.  It’s so easy to browse for the specific template you are looking for. I just checked out now the food templates for what they got if i can grab one for my health blog.    I checked out love and i saw one that is great for the blog i have for my daughter.  So guys, check wp blog themes, am sure they have what you need.

I went shopping for a footwear!

I got a new set of office uniform (oh i wish i have a photo of it), one that needs a formal office shoes.  So I was not able to wear the uniform Monday because i still did not have the shoes that will go with it.  After I got the payout Monday noontime, i directly went to the telephone company to check on my bill adjustment and also pay the balance.  Wow my bill was adjusted to a little bit more than five hundred pesos.  Shopping for shoes was next in mind but my time is not enough anymore, so i thought of coming back in the evening.

I have already scouted the shoes last week so i only need to go back to buy it.  So that’s it!

Before i went to the cashier to pay the pair of shoes, i still took time to go around to check other styles.  And i saw one.  I asked a lady to get me the complete pair and when i put tried it on, wow it feels good on my feet.   It took me some more minutes to decided when i saw the price.  I can afford the price but I am also thinking i can use the money to pay or to buy other staff.  But then i was also thinking that the last time i bought a good pair of high heels was in 2007 when i was in Bangkok.  The money i used on that was the salary i earned teaching for 8 hrs at my cousin’s school.  So since my Payu2blog earnings are hard earned money, i thought that it is just right i should treat myself for another pair of heels.  So here it is -

I am waiting for Saturday so that i can use it.  I always have this  idea that any new thing first used on a Saturday or Sabbath, it will last longer.

So, happy new footwears for me!

I now have 7pairs of footwears in the dorm and that includes 2 rubber sleepers.  Though the office shoes will just be a standby pair at the office.  The new heels, it is still hidden away in the locker.

Next pay out – it’s Dimple’s time.  It’s almost to her graduation time eh.  Nothing like new dress because she does not need as they are going to use a toga, but i hope to give her something that she wishes for.

All these, thank you Payu2blog for all the tasks given!  You are one great company and am glad i am in Payu2blog wagon.  Thank you also to God for giving me the strength to make a post even though most of the time am tired and not feeling like blogging.  But when there are tasks, i just forgot for some moments that am really down.
