Joys in Life

I went to cdo for an official errand.  We left mid morning already so we reached our destination almost noontime.  OUr first stop was at Capitol University to submit the enrolment forms of doctoral students.  The good thing was, the Graduate School has moved to it’s new location - the 5th floor of their newest building.  I started from the groundfloor poised but when i reached half way more to the 5th floor i was already wapoised. hahahaha.  We finished our transaction there almost 12 noon because we waited for the Dean to come back. 

We had lunch at Jo’s Inato and the food bring me back memories of Bacolod City because it’s there where i experienced my first Buko Halohalo.   After lunch we went to NMC and since the offices were still close we proceed to the place where Sir Pacardo has to purchase a machine pump for the Hemo department.  To find the place took us some time because it was located inside the Grand Europa, just a stone away from the airport.

I took some photos along the way but it will be uploaded tomorrow yet.  From the Frontiera Subd. we went to SPUC as majority of us got a transaction there.  We left the compound almost 4 pm.  We still drop by several places and the last stop was at Macro as i was hoping we can purchase a ready-to-install blinds but they have no stock at the moment.

ON our way to Iligan, it took us earlier than the usual private vehicle speed because we were tailing a Congressman’s vehicle (a Hilux) with a police bodyguard ahead.  I think we were running a 100-120.  Rain caught us before we reached the vicinity of the Iligan but it was not a big pour bt can still wet enough the road and anyone who does not have an umbrella. 

We arrived the school campus a lil bit past six with a moderate pour though.

This is a disposable diaper. And according to wikipedia, a disposable diaper is ” disposable diapers contain absorbent chemicals and are thrown away after use.”

I thought that dispo diapers are only for babies because i saw my kids have time with it and dispo diapers abound now in all grocery stores. If not babies, i know of adults who are using dispo diapers and they are the ones that are bed ridden, or ones that does have the control of their bladder suffering from urinary incontinence and it is the same with fecal incontinence. Am not yet into this level of adulthood but am using disposal diaper now. If i have just know it earlier or years later, then i have saved myself for washing stained sheets.  It was last month that i was feelign bad because my newly changed sheet was stained 2 nights later and my period rans for 3-4 days.  My mom told me about disposable diapers.  AS she described to me how to use it, i promised myself that the next month am going to use it.  Maria came last night and it was already profuse this morning when i took my bath at 5 am for an activity in school.     I played but later in the afternoon i was feeling flooded already.  I went home around past 4 and after shower went to sleep. But i was not having a straight sleep because i was conscious that am gonna stained my sheets again.

So earlier before getting online, i picked myself a Large size EQ diaper.  I think EQ is the cheapest of all diapers in shops.  I dunno now but that was it back when my kids were still babies.   I vowed to use this at night time for the first 3 nights.  All you need are two safety pins to hold the diaper in place.  Am feeling comfortable now as I sitting here infront of my PC.

How about you ladies out there?  Do you have problems like mine?  Then maybe you would like to use disposable diaper at night.  It’s so comfy.

NOVEMBER 7 -Do you celebrate anniversaries? How?  In all my relationships (i think except the man i married) anniversaries are special dates.  If time does can’t let us have a celebration, special greetings will do like anniv cards and maybe a candy or two will go along with it.   In my current LO, for our first 2 years, i was still in China, the anniversary is being celebrated with cakes and wine and pasta.  And i buy lots of flowers too and we celebrate it together - he inside the pc screen and me on the table, tasting the wine and eating some of the cakes.  I eat half of the cake and put away in the ref half of it and freeze them til he makes it to China.  Sadly he did not, so that frozen cake was thrown away from some months. lol!  Now that am back in my homeland and he is still out there, we just greet each other and when we have the chance to meet in real - we celebrate all the special dates in our relationship (pakyawan).

OCTOBER 31
If there’s one greatest gift that you ever received in your life, what is that?  My mom.  The mom i have.  She may not be perfect, but i am so proud and thankful that she is my mom or else i won’t be here blogging and answering this meme question and having children that calls me mommy because am “really” their mom.   

OCTOBER 24
Were you taught and trained to do the household chores at a very young age? If yes, would you implement the same to your children?  Yes, we were or I am.  Am the eldest i have to learn earlier that in my elementary years, i can be a doting mom to my siblings because my mom is a working mom. hehehe.  I can remember we have house-hold assignment list pasted in one of the corners of the kitchen that we have to do it before going to school in the morning and beofre eating dinner in the evening.  I thought that time i got a devil mom because she let us work hard while other kids in the neighborhood play and play.  But later at 14 when me and my sister were off to a boarding school and we have to cook our food, i did well.  I have to fed my sister for 4 years in boarding school and my bro for 2 years.   Would i implement to my children?  I do want to but my kid is now at a situation where almost everyone will do things for her, especially the grandma.  I even mused to myself how come my mom was not able to train my child well when it comes to household chores, when she had done her best when me myself and my siblings were still young.  oh well, i’d like to blame it on grandmahood. hehehe.  Dimple is still not good in washing clothes even her undies and socks.   She can’t arranged her clothes well nor fold them very well like i want to.  But for cooking rice, as long as she measures water and rice well, she goes along fine.  She can sweep the floor too.

As i mentioned last week, i’d like to say big thank you to the admin of Paraiso Philippines for giving me the chance to join the 2nd Mindanao Bloggers Summit last week-end in General Santos City.  It was a memorable experience and made me think that in the next summits to come, i should take the time to attend.  Thank you too for sponsoring the one way gas expense of one of the speakers in the person of Mr. Bobby Timonera that enabled Dimple to tag along with me or else if i have taken the bus, she can never come along.

It was my first time to join the convention.  The first summit was held in Davao last year but i didn’t heard about that one besides from the fact that i just  started blogging around that time.   The theme of the convention was”"Mindanawon Paminawon Intawon: Blogging the Mindanao Consciousness.” Each speaker shares informations that can be a useful in improving one’s blog.    In short, i can say that everyone in the big room agrees that there are many things Mindanao can show to the world more then bad news and bombings.

Aside from the inspiring thoughts and tips of all speakers, one of the unforgetable happening out there is that, i made friends with most bloggers who are out there.  I have a long list of blogs to be visited and i hope to visit them one by one as soon as i got the time.   I was also able to pose with most of the speakers and am gonna post more of my pics in my Photoblog, if not tonight, the soonest.

Hey am back!  I was gone since early Friday morning that is why i was not able to post and replied to comment, drop my entry url in the memes this week-end.  I got so many things to say and to be posted in all of my 5 blogs and i really dunno where to start. 

Last night, i arrived late and i was not able tomanage to log online here.  Butwas able to to post some pics right away at Paraiso Philipines Forum.  I will be posting more pics here and in my photoblog.  I really wanted to talk about the whole trip from the beginning to the end but i dunno when will i start. Especially my thoughts and reactions to the messages shared at the summit, but it seems my hands are full for updates.

I dunno if i missed any oppssbut when i check my PayU now walang laman. I dunno why.  My SR is zero too. wahahahahaa. oh well, i hope i can have time to bid tonight.

Today is Thursday and for me it was a day that i had a long list of “to do’s”  I should have posted them this morning, but well, i really did not have all the time to post.  But i did the following:

Those were in my list plus all the things i’ve done that were not in my list.  So i was not able to babad online today.  I was late to work this afternoon because i was lured to have my first ever facial treatment :D.  Wahh it was nice but i was like funny because i often asked, what’s this and what’s that for? hehehee.  And the peeled off mask? I carried it home. hahaha

I got home past 5 pm then went to the city to pick the money from Cebuana.  Then proceeded to do some grocery for home and then some stuff to be carried for the trip.

Before i logged online earalier, I was just done with my packing. 

After this post, i will try my best to do all my Friday memes and Saturday and schedule it for posting.  I wish anyone can do the favor for me by linking my entry to the meme.  Hmmm i really forgot to ask someone to do this for me but anyway, at least even if am away there would be sth new that will come up daily til i come back.

After i logged out later, i dunno when i will get back online again while am away.  But surely will be online from home by Monday. So, let me wish everyone a happy week-end and happy blogging and bloghopping.

Connection is back at home but at a temporary spot.  It feel unlikely when you have pc and internet connection but not use it because there’s no right place for the computer to be set up.  Oh well, instead of going out last night for an hour at the internet bar, i jst set up the pc at a temporary corner.  My sister wanted it back inside the bedroom but i just can’t because i also have many things that were not arranged at the right place yet.  We are trying to fit ourselves with our things in a very small house.

I wonder when can i win a house and lot! hahahaa  Just dreaming nowbecause am hungry.

I need fillers.

Last night, when i got home, i was a bit upset with i don’t know but i was not my real self.  The big locker for my sis has arrived but she was so lazy to do anything.  So i gave attention to it and you can just imagine how heavy her to mega big suitcases and i have to drag it from the other room to our room.  I pulled out all her stuff from the suitcases and just arranged it the normal way inside the locker so that the suitcases can be kept away.  The computer has not been connected back inside the bedroom because i still don’t have the table that i want to use.  The computer table that was included in the purchase package was too bulky inside the bedroom that was why i stopped using it last year.  I just used a normal short eating table but now it was too big with the big locker inside my room.  So i tried to scout for a mini computer table and i found out — am still financially short so i instructed my sis to clear one of the corners in our small living room so that i install the PC back to life when i get home later this afternoon.

It’s Tuesday now and am glad inspite of a bothersome feelings inside which i just don’t feel like sharing except for one person.  I am sort of upset inside but i know it’s not good to be upset.  I mean it’s pointless to be upset in this situation because it’s a situation that is beyond my control.

Oh well, i will just smile.  Something to be noted today — I a part of Dimple’s school bill.  It’s their examination beginning tomorrow.  I am glad to see her seriously studying last night and today at 5 am.

and i will be off on a trip to attend the 2nd Mindanao Bloggers Summit.  This will be my first time and I can imagine i will be meeting so many bloggers out there.  Still up to now,  i haven’t find any of friends in my list that are going but even then, i know i will find many bloggers out there.  It is also good to know that one of the resource speakers will be from Iligan City in the person of Bobby Timonera.  I haven’t meet him ever yet but i heard his name through my photographer friends.

In preparation of the trip, Mitch has already sent me the flyers promoting Paraiso Philippines and i will be printing them out anytime this week.  She sent me too something to be given as surprise to some people i should meet there and Bariles (Avel) will be one of them.

My leave form has been signed already as my boss will be leaving on Monday for Manila and will be away for the whole week. 

Yey am so excited!  Wish anyone i know here can go.

I love that song and that song is really tumpak for me today because for the first time i am one of the MODERATOR for a forum. :D  Yes, honest! It’s kilig but at the same time i feel serious because it is not sooo easy as eating peanuts to moderate a forum site.  I’ve seen many good Mods who tries to keep a forum site organized and harmonious.  Oh well, after 5 years of being a forum member in several forum sites, I am one of the mods now for Paraiso Philippines Forum.
