Which one will you pick?  The students enjoyed giving out their ideas on that topic last Saturday afternoon.  They are still students plus the fact that they are growing up in a culture where ladies should be more passive in showing off their feelings of love towards the opposite sex.  Do you wanna know which of the two got the more votes?  Wait for Love!  Even a couple of guys voted for “wait for love” for the reason that if they look for it, there is a big tendency that they will misinterpret puppy feelings as love.  The students who answered “wait for love” have the same reasons.  Most girls answered “wait for love” for the reason that they are girls because it’s the culture they brought up in and also for the reason that if they look for love, they might fall for the wrong person.

I concluded that at some point in our lives, whether are male or female, we have been under the spell of those two situations.  Giving the example of a lady that is still single at 35 and never had a BF since birth, of course she will go out and look for love.  And for the students since they are still young then they should just “wait for love” because they still have all the time in the world to observe.  They should never feel pressured because they are still young.

My point to everyone that afternoon was — Wait for love and when love comes, make yourself available.

Yesterday’s work.

Am having a blue day.  As in.  Cried to sleep last night and even now if speak, tears still fall.

Slept very late because after i dc i declutter my bedroom especially my bed. hahahaa so i ended up sleeping around 2 am.  When morning came, i wish to sleep longer but sleep ran away as i was feeling alert.  Maybe because am thinking that today is the last day of the year 2008.  Isn’t that great?

Am not going to cook a lot today not because we don’t ahve anything to cook.  But my mom just felt that we will just have a very simple bueno noches by just eating some fruits and the biko.  So right now, we are doing the latik while the we are cooking the pilit.  Am sure in two hours the biko is reading for cooling and by dinner time tonight it’s ready for eating.  So am goingto eat some after setting aside a small mound for my sister. 

After breakfast, i started the movie of Piolo Pascual and Donita Rose, 9 Mornings.  It was a nice Christmas movie.  We have it paused around 5 times because while Dimple and i are watching movie, my mom was very busy dusting, wiping with wet cloth the top of the lockers and also the windows and decluttering dimple’s stuff.  It’s new year, you know…so it’s like we always have this kind of cleaning every before New yaer comes.

We are done with lunch.  I let dimple cooked some pancit canton and i also include in it a handful of spring beans so am full now.  It’s good time for sleeping but i decided to check my mailboxes for some assignments.  Glad i checked coz i found one.  Thank be to God.  It sounds promising, you know.  One is better than zero. 

 Gift giving is not yet over.  Though Christmas day is past, some people are still giving gifts this new year.  Caroling does not even stop until the Three Kings.  After that, just a couple more weeks Valentines will be around so another time of gift giving.  My wish this time from my guy is a nice ladies watch so am introducing him to Nixon watches so that he can order online and the delivery be done before the Heart’s Day.  I hope he will be a generous guy this time so that he will not be tagged as as the “imaginary guy only.”  He knows i call him that and he does not like it.   Oh i love checkign out these watches these days.  There are so many savy, cute, and trendy watches for ladies.  HOpe i will get one by February.

Am off now because the smell of the sweetened latik is so tempting.

NOVEMBER 7 -Do you celebrate anniversaries? How?  In all my relationships (i think except the man i married) anniversaries are special dates.  If time does can’t let us have a celebration, special greetings will do like anniv cards and maybe a candy or two will go along with it.   In my current LO, for our first 2 years, i was still in China, the anniversary is being celebrated with cakes and wine and pasta.  And i buy lots of flowers too and we celebrate it together – he inside the pc screen and me on the table, tasting the wine and eating some of the cakes.  I eat half of the cake and put away in the ref half of it and freeze them til he makes it to China.  Sadly he did not, so that frozen cake was thrown away from some months. lol!  Now that am back in my homeland and he is still out there, we just greet each other and when we have the chance to meet in real – we celebrate all the special dates in our relationship (pakyawan).

OCTOBER 31
If there’s one greatest gift that you ever received in your life, what is that?  My mom.  The mom i have.  She may not be perfect, but i am so proud and thankful that she is my mom or else i won’t be here blogging and answering this meme question and having children that calls me mommy because am “really” their mom.   

OCTOBER 24
Were you taught and trained to do the household chores at a very young age? If yes, would you implement the same to your children?  Yes, we were or I am.  Am the eldest i have to learn earlier that in my elementary years, i can be a doting mom to my siblings because my mom is a working mom. hehehe.  I can remember we have house-hold assignment list pasted in one of the corners of the kitchen that we have to do it before going to school in the morning and beofre eating dinner in the evening.  I thought that time i got a devil mom because she let us work hard while other kids in the neighborhood play and play.  But later at 14 when me and my sister were off to a boarding school and we have to cook our food, i did well.  I have to fed my sister for 4 years in boarding school and my bro for 2 years.   Would i implement to my children?  I do want to but my kid is now at a situation where almost everyone will do things for her, especially the grandma.  I even mused to myself how come my mom was not able to train my child well when it comes to household chores, when she had done her best when me myself and my siblings were still young.  oh well, i’d like to blame it on grandmahood. hehehe.  Dimple is still not good in washing clothes even her undies and socks.   She can’t arranged her clothes well nor fold them very well like i want to.  But for cooking rice, as long as she measures water and rice well, she goes along fine.  She can sweep the floor too.

Am back at work and everyone’s question to each other is: how’s the vacation? or how’s the holiday? where did you spend your long week-end? etcetera etcetera.

Well, i just spent mine at home and surely it’s like i looked double than i was last week.  I had the luxury of taking naps anytime i want.  I have the luxury of sleeping late as much as i want.  Though i only watched 3 movies but I also finished watching the whole series of Three Dads and One Mom. I spent quality time with my mom and my daughter.  Yesterday afternoon, the 3 of us find ourselves relaxing in the bamboo sofa outside or door.  They day yesterday was less hot compared to the past days.  In some parts of the country is rainy but I dunno why we don’t have here at our area.   But even then it was a good long week-end.

September is gone yet if i have to evaluate it, it was a good month.  Though the opps was not that much but my winnings was added blessings. I think i had 3 winnings this month, the bday contest at chikai’s Blog, and also the top posted for the month of August at Yen’s blog, then also the 2nd slot as the highest poster at PPF.   I didn’t have personal budget for my daughter’s bday but there are  many of you out there who became my angels in disguise that the bday was memorable for my girl.    Dimple was sick but was medicated this month.  Am happy for that.  Mom was hospitalized too but glad she discharged ok in spite of the high reading of her Lipid profile.    All these things made me really smile and whisper  word of thanks to Him up there.    He’s been so good.
