While i was browsing for the latest quick weight loss tea, i come across this personality quiz. My friend tasked me to check out the safest weight loss tea because she is going to be the matron of honor at her best friend’s wedding. She’s going to wear a gown and she wanna look gorgeous. I say galore because i had more than a cup within the last 48 hours. Saturday lunch, i had a half cup, and yesterday morning, another cup, and today lunch oh my gosh! for sure it was another cup or so. I can say that i had so much sweets for the last forty eight hours. I am sure it’s very bad for my health. Although i had gymtime yesterday for almost 2 hours, but the calories i had in ice cream was just too much. Bo bo me, I knew it’s bad yet i just can’t stop eating.
I don’t know how much level of sugar I have now but last year i know i was a bit beyond the border line. Last year too my cholesterol level was almost at the boundary so it was too early for me to take cholesterol treatment . I am still fit to do a faithful exercise and of course limit my food intake. But i plan to have my cholesterol check in the summer. Who knows it’s already beyond normal. 
With the quantity of ice cream i had in the past 2 days, i guess i should not eat ice cream quite a long time from now on or else i will never ever lose weight.
I went shopping for a footwear!
I got a new set of office uniform (oh i wish i have a photo of it), one that needs a formal office shoes. So I was not able to wear the uniform Monday because i still did not have the shoes that will go with it. After I got the payout Monday noontime, i directly went to the telephone company to check on my bill adjustment and also pay the balance. Wow my bill was adjusted to a little bit more than five hundred pesos. Shopping for shoes was next in mind but my time is not enough anymore, so i thought of coming back in the evening.
I have already scouted the shoes last week so i only need to go back to buy it. So that’s it!
Before i went to the cashier to pay the pair of shoes, i still took time to go around to check other styles. And i saw one. I asked a lady to get me the complete pair and when i put tried it on, wow it feels good on my feet. 
It took me some more minutes to decided when i saw the price. I can afford the price but I am also thinking i can use the money to pay or to buy other staff. But then i was also thinking that the last time i bought a good pair of high heels was in 2007 when i was in Bangkok. The money i used on that was the salary i earned teaching for 8 hrs at my cousin’s school. So since my Payu2blog earnings are hard earned money, i thought that it is just right i should treat myself for another pair of heels. So here it is -
I am waiting for Saturday so that i can use it. I always have this idea that any new thing first used on a Saturday or Sabbath, it will last longer.
So, happy new footwears for me!
I now have 7pairs of footwears in the dorm and that includes 2 rubber sleepers. Though the office shoes will just be a standby pair at the office. The new heels, it is still hidden away in the locker.
Next pay out – it’s Dimple’s time. It’s almost to her graduation time eh. Nothing like new dress because she does not need as they are going to use a toga, but i hope to give her something that she wishes for.
All these, thank you Payu2blog for all the tasks given! You are one great company and am glad i am in Payu2blog wagon. Thank you also to God for giving me the strength to make a post even though most of the time am tired and not feeling like blogging. But when there are tasks, i just forgot for some moments that am really down.
I got an email earlier last week that she is coming this way very soon. She also left her number so i could text her. As i want to really meet her even long time ago, i texted her and of course wanted a meet-up! And we did! Last Saturday (February 27, 2010, 5:30 pm)
We just asked any of the waiters to take a picture of us. This is just for documentation purposes but i cropped it to hide my big tummy. hahahaa Yen is very beautiful and in person. She got a very sweet and friendly smile that right away i feel it’s like we’re not meeting for the first time. We had a quick dining at Mandarin REsto at the Gaisano Mall.
Yen is the author of the blogs, Notablebistro and Around the World and Me and Mine. Something went wrong with her Me and Mine so the blog does not currently exist. We met online through blogging in 2007 (just when i started blogging) and it’s so nice to feel that after two years we met in person.
Thank you Yen for taking time to meet. I now understand how busy you are and at least this time you took time to see me. Nagkita na jud ta! I hope we meet again next time and promise I won’t be in a hurry to leave for an appointment.
This meeting made me wish for meetings with other online friends in the future. It’s great online kindness and friendliness be felt in the real world.

I had my hair cut. New look. New style. Hopefully it will give me a new mood. hahaha. I had my hair and pedi done at Reyes Hair Center. The woman assigned to me does not have a TLC touch. I loudly groan in pain when she tried to reach out the deepest side of my toenails to pick a dead skin. She has a sort of heavy hand. Even on my hair, she does not a smooth move. Thanks though she did cut it right to what i want.
While i was waiting for my turn, i can’t help to think of what transpired before i left the dorm. Haii mommy life! I wish am not yet a mommy now. I felt a bit bad about it but to give her a lesson, i did give her a very hard one.

Welcome 2010 and goodbye 2009. For me, 2009 was a good year in spite of all the financial struggles. I know money is not everything but i realized that money is a very important tool to get things normally going. It was not a stress-free year although i am praying for a stress-free 2010. I find stress for a challenge me to tackle things so here are some of my unforgetables of 2009
1. Went back to the gym after almost a year
2. My blood sugar was real high for the first time
3. I was not able to take a leave on my birthday but had a grand time with my office mates. There was so much things to do that day because of the upcoming Anniversary program
4. Dimple officially become a little lady on my birthday
5. Kuya Nonoy’s death
6. Former Phil. President (1st Philippine woman President) died.
7. Michael Jackson died
8. Jun Acut’s death
9. MBS2 at Cagayan de Oro City
10. Victim to theft at Uni Top Mall (Dec 30, 2009)
11. Earned only 1/4 of what i earned from Sponsored REviews last year yet PU2B blessings was constant.
12. Managed to regularly update 3 blogs (personal, health, and travel blogs) even it’s an add on to my fix job.
13. We had a new baby boy in the family (March 9)
14. Got my first laptop (December 5)
15. Purchased a Globe Tattoo BB (December)
16. Experienced my first zip line and also river rafting (June)
17. Played badminton for some months with co-workers.
In the coming days, i will have to post a summary of the total number of posts i made in this blog and in all my blogs.

I really can’t say am organized all the time. But i have places for all of my stuff. And though how much in and out they looked like, yet i could still find what i am looking for. Just before i moved into the dorm, i received a gift from my child’s school in appreciation for not missing any single parents/teachers meeting. I was surprised because….secret! lol! Anyway, i planned of missing some meetings in the future. Joke joke.
Since Dimple got several lunch boxes already and even at home we have more food containers (for refrigeration of food) we need, so i decided to use the it for organizing my anik anik stuff inside my locker. Here’s a shot of what i mean:
- i like this container. but i forgot who gave this to me. i am using this now for miscellaneous little things.
I think i have poor lighting in my room that i need to use a flash when taking pictures. Maybe one day i need to improve the light fixtures so that the room won’t be too dark if the light is off.

I am not sure if i really have to worry about PR – but really am slacking these days. Not that i want to but because i don’t have time. Oh Mr. Santa, please send me a laptop this Christmas. Big or small – whatever as long as i can use up there in my new home.
really…i have not yet settled. i still have very busy days that i dunno when i can sit down and relax infront of the computer and write down my thoughts.

I came early to work today (November 16) because it’s my first day to report in my new office. Actually not a new office but an additonal office, an addition to what i have for sometime now.
I made a profile statement in my facebook account saying that as of 7 pm last night, i embarked into a new chapter of my life. It’s an exciting but also a very challenging one so i asked for prayers. I made it that way because i just can’t say straight last night of my new (an additional) job description this semester. For everyone’s information, i accepted the challenge to become an Assistant Dean in the Girl’s Dormitory of this college. It has an almost 70 ladies occupants. I know it would not be an easy job dealing with the current generation children, but I am praying very hard that I can work with them well. I hope and pray that i will be more patient, more understanding but firm with the rules and regulations of the college.
I will be working along with Ma’am JD (photo below), the ever beautiful, young dean for two semesters now. With her, I am sure that it will be a nice first semester in this new work.
That’s an additional work and well, also an additional home. I will be staying in the dorm while i have this job and Dimple of course will come along with me. I haven’t finalized my move last night because the former Asst. Dean has not yet moved out. So maybe this coming weekend, I will have the place ready for a photo shoot. lol!
I guess that from time to time i will be posting some of my experiences as an assistant dean (let me call it “assistant mommy” so am making a new category for that under parenting. I am trying to be prepared for behavioral problems in the future and i hope mommies out there can share with me some tips on how should i deal with them. I guess it’s now time to be active again in mommy forums.
How time flies!
Dimple (my daughter) was born September 26 in 1997 at Mindanao Sanitarium and Hospital in Iligan City while Josh (Bebb’z son) was born on October 11, 1997 at Bacolod Sanitarium and Hospital in Bacolod City.
The exchange of letters between me and Bebbot all those preggy months were regular. We were sharing each and every milestone of our pregnancy. I gave birth ahead and right after i got home i have to share with her via phone what happened if there was pain or how much was the pain.
After she gave birth, we still kept writing and tried to compare the features of our baby. Both babies are cute when they were still small but as they grew up i realized that Josh is lean and very tall while Dimple is also tall but a bit chubby.
I wish that one day we could get together for birthday celebration. The babies met when they were 6 months old in Bacolod. Then the next time was in December 2006 in Cebu City.
I miss Bebbz and her long and newsy letters. I miss the kids too…They are really growing so fast. Each of us now are caught in our personal activities but we still manage to say hi through YM and lately through FB. No matter what i know Bebbz and I will always be friends forever.
It’s Christmas in less than 50 days and i have already halfway checking my list for the recipients of my yearly Christmas cards. I like to post my cards early week of December so that it reach them at Christmas. I have already done the photos to be attached to the cards, too!
Hmmm I really miss Christmas with Bebbz and family. We were together during Christmas 2006 in Cebu.
