My day started at 5 am yesterday because that was the time that we should be at the basketball court of the College. Since it was a rainy the night before, not all made it before 5 am. However, we were able to begin our worship a lil bit short of 6 am.
Mindanao Sanitarium and Hospital and also the College family celebrated the Thanksgiving Month month with the theme: Tremendous Blessings Through God’s Blessings. We had the opening ceremony last November 9th and yesterday 16th it was slated for the parlor games. After the parlor games, ballgames were played until the late evening. We were so thankful that the weather cooperated so well because the past week, games were not played due to the rain every afternoon.
The games were played by groups. There were 4 groups, Orange, Blue, Yellow, and Green. I belong to the Orange group which is group 1. Their were 4 sets of parlor games: Flag raising, Ball Relay, Bike marathon, Kadang, Carribean, then the Palo Sebo. I think our group finished 3rd.
To continue telling the story, here are the pictures -
- after the GO, our flag bearer ran for the pole! -
- that’s the pole for the “PALO SEBO” The pole’s body is painted with oil and it is up to the player on how to reach the prize. There were 3 players who played this. -
- one of my companions in the BALL relay practicing and at the same time being instructed by the Parlor Games coordinator. -
- and the kadang starts (walking using the coconut shell)
- one of our players in the bike relay -
- that’s 3 full men already yet the prize is still quite far to reach -
Everyone had fun! Not just playing but also eating. After the worship, we had pahina (cleaning) then the pa-init (pre breakfast snack), then parlor games. AFter the parlor games was the volleyball game for women first and the men after the women.
In the afternoon (after lunch) was the basketball game. I watched for 30 minutes only then at 4 pm, i went home because i was very very tired and sleepy. My body was not in it’s normal self so i was so tired.
I love nature shots! But when the view is ruined by man’s carelessness, then i would feel sad. See that cigarrette butts? They should not be there. Actually when i shoot this, i did not see those garbage. I jst saw them when i uploadeed the pics in my pc. So i wish, that somehow people will be responsible enough to take good care of nature.

Til laterz am off to doze off now. It;s week-end you know. hehehe
one of the skies i took weeks back. I will never forget the sky view from Sarangani Highlands.
My entry yesterday depicted a very dramatic sky. There’s still beauty in it but we wanted it to go away because we were wanting to reach the Overview pass in Tawas. But inspite we wanted to reach the place as soon as we can, the driver wanted to stop to shoot some mountains nearby. It was also a chance for my daughter to relieve herself, so we went down the car. I was so afraid that the black clouds would break and then we would not be able to go up the viewing deck. Oh well…
Did it rain before we reached the viewing deck?
It did not rain yet but after ten minutes of appreciating the view with our cameras, it started to shower. Five of us ran up the stairs and down back to our vehicle.

Details about the photograph will be posted tomorrow in my TMT entry.
More than 2 weeks ago, my week-end was in General Santos City. As part of the summit program, Sunday morning was slated for a complimentary tour. And this place is our first stop:
that is my daughter in the foreground with the entrance to the wharf behind her. The other people milling around are also our companions.
Here are what you can see inside:
lots and lots of big fishes!
one must be in boots if you want to see those big fish/fishes
in the interior part of the complex.

She is so proud of this photo and another one in file. She did not regret tagging along with me on the trip to Gen San or else she will not have jumping or flying photos. She became “on-the-road” jumping model for my photoenthusiasts new frends in the person of Mr. Bobby Timonera and Mr. Roger Marcelo.

It’s my first time to pass by this place, Carmen, Cotabato. We stopped by for awhile infront of the capitol building to shoot some pics. These sky photos are some of them.

We were at the General Santos City Wharf the other Sunday and it was a very hot clear day. Great time to picture the view and the skies. But it was so hot that i decided not to get off our service van. But my daughter, wanted to get off and i let her carry the camera, and these are some of her shots - The end of the blue boat.
More pics here:
i think it has a dirty face. hehehee
that dirty water from the boat flows out into this crystal blue waters of the Gen San wharf.
