Joys in Life

It’s the 16th week at PMC Weekly Fest and the theme is then and now.  I thought i cannot join again but browsing through my archives, i saw some old photos (id size) in which i tried to make use and yeah - that’s the one am posting now. 

In the THEN slot, i used 3 pictures.  The bigger one was taken in October 1994 (my graduation day).  I had that shot before i put on my toga.  I think am so thin that time coz my neck is as long as the giraffe. :D  The 1986 was also a picture taken few days before my elementary graduation, taken at the school grounds.  It was picture taking day for the all grades.  That small picture which is marked 2005 is actually 2004 (nagkamali ako ng caption) taken in October or November 2004 in Zhangjiakou, PR of China.  That was my first picture after few days of being down due to potato poisoning.  I made that smile after days of painful head and nauseous feeling. 

In the NOW portion are two pictures.  The big one shows that am now a mom to an 11 year old girl. This was taken just last Friday.  and the small one was taken May this year when i was a ninang in one of my frend’s wedding.

So that’s me - then and now.  The size or the contour of my face may have changed but the friendly and loving me never changed.  Am still the iyakin me.

Yay, that’s me. hahaha. I think this was taken a year ago and intendedly shoot for my guy. I did love to submit my the wackyness of a mommy’s life but i really forgot to have it scanned. So i got no choice but to submit this piggy monkey me. lol!  This was taken inside my bedroom here at home using the webcam so that explains not so sharp visibility.

This week’s theme for the Weekly Fest is “When You Were…”  It is a display of picture of you and your hubby before marriage.  I knew of the theme the other day and right away I thought i got nothing for an entry.  So instead of posting something with a picture, i’d rather post this with an explanation why on earth i don’t have a pre-marriage photo of me and my hubby (ex hubby na to uy).

Honestly, we had pics but I really dunno where they are now.  I remember long time ago, pre-wedding months, i got a photo of “US” in my wallet.  It was my kumare who took that shot and then developed it to twp pieces wallet size for me and him.  We used it during all the time since we received it from our kumare.  Many months later, when we already had a child, and the relationship seems not right (on my part), i discovered that “our” picture was not in his wallet anymore.  I didn’t asked him why he took it off, but i also did the same.  I took off “our” picture and changed it to a beautiful me (feeling single) mode.   The more i was emotionally drifting apart from him.  The act made me conclude that he is also thinking that our relationship is getting cold and am tired of trying to make it real warm.  Well, to make the long story short, I lost our pics.  Maybe i had it in file in my stuff left at his place or maybe i have really thrown it away.

Btw, just a little glimpse of our pre-marriage situation or maybe pre-living in together situation, we have gone out on several dates but seldom only the two of us together.  It’s often with my friends because he only comes to visit for couple of hours then off his way back to Pampanga.  So, if he goes, at least i have friends or girlfriend that will go back with me to my boarding house.  So we didnt have the typical sweety2 bf/gf relationship.

it is my first time to PMC Fest and am glad the benefactor this week has invited me to join. The theme was even confusing for me at first that i have to asked her what does “wacky” means. lol! when i saw several entries, then i got the idea on what to post. So for my wacky entry:

These was taken one Saturday last year.  It was a hot morning as my attire speaks.  It just happen that me and my daughter were in the mood to take funny pictures.  That number one pictures says - ok, ready ONE.  2nd photo says TWO - cover your face and we agree that on the Third click, we will make funny faces.  After we were done wiht this, looking at the shots, we stil laugh and laugh for a long time.
