1. What measures have you taken to cut back expenses?
We ate yellow corn rice instead or rice grain.  We buy only fish and vegetables.  We buy chicken or beef on special occasions only.  No more eating outs bt if there’s really extra, i make sure Dimple can have a bite of something nice with me in the city.  Walked to work and back instead of riding a tri-sikad.

2. Have you ever bought a book and used the receipt as a bookmark?
Yeah but not for long.  Just for the time after buying the book and i go on my trip, so i have to use the receipt as a bookmark.

3. Can you recall any traumatic, embarrassing or troubling events as a child that
you still remember vividly? If so, care to share?  Of course and it’s sad.  I think i was 6 years old.  My mom and father had a fight.  it was really public coz they landed outside the house.  My mom threw mud at my decently dressed father then i dunno what he did that i saw my mom on knees on the canal mud.  And i can vividly remember screaming: “tabang! tabang” (help help) to neighbors so that maybe anyone can let them break them apart.  I was scared that my mom will die that moment.  That was not the first that they really fought hard and loud, but i promised myself that if they gonna separated ways, am not going with either of them and over my dead body will not let my siblings or any of us go with our father. (i really don’t like to remember this incident but it’s always inside my brain)

4. What is the strangest question you have ever been asked at a job interview?
You had a baby and what are you going to do with it? (this was asked when i had an interview at one of the hospitals in Manila.  It made me then conclude that what is your past in one hospital and go apply in a sister hospital or institution, one can never have a fresh start.  past wil still follow me. )

5. Does it make you uncomfortable if a woman is breastfeeding her baby in public? No.

6. Do you know anyone who has an unpredictable temper? Who?  No.

7. What did you have to learn “the hard way”?  Many to mention.

8. Have you ever been dishonest about the origin of a bruise?  No.

9. Have you ever gotten any kind of envelope in the mail without the senders return address? Did you found out who it was from?  Yes and i found it out right away after the third enveloped.  He was a stalker but a handsome one. hahaha

10. It’s our 40th QOTW. I am giving away something. Can you tell me why should I give it to you? It’s just a little something to spice up this little Meme!  Hmmm because we are friends and i think i posted the worst experience for an answer in question # 3. huhuhuhu.

4. Would you help this damsel in distress?
+ You notice a woman with a stroller struggling to get to the top of a broken escalator.
You’re late for a meeting with an important, and impatient, person.

- Sure why not? i will ask her to grab her baby and i will grab the stroller and run up the escalator together or i ran up ahead.

5. Do you need some form of retribution and vindication before you forgive?  No. I only need time.

6. Do you think you are mentally prepared to win a jackpot in a lotto?  I think so.  I already have a list on waht to do.  But i wonder if manalo ako when di naman ako tumataya. hahhaaha

7. Do you think the kinds of movies a person enjoys are an indicator of what type of person they are? IN a smaller percentage, yes.

8. How do you do anything?  Deep breath and move quickly.  Multi-task!

9. Does music affect your personality?  Yeah.  Soft ones relax my quiet mind.  Strong ones relaxes my angry self.

10. What can you say to brighten someone’s day?  Anything sunny phrases.

If i have all the time and money, i will go back to school and finish up nursing.

I travelled to Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur and met some old frineds and made new friends.

No.  They don’t know how to capture me the way i capture in a photo the essence of other person.

>> sexy ones not because they look ugly but because i can’t wear them for now. lol!

>>i always live in moderation because there’s nothing more for extras.

>> Bible and prayer.

>> It’s ok.  I have my own life now.  But sure i would secretly enjoy comparing myself and my close frend. hehehe

>> yeah  at times. especially when it comes to relationships.

>> my when it concerns my dignity as a person and my credibility as an employee.

>>What a question!  hehehee. i think di pa ako naka try nito.

1. Do you have a broad sense of humor? Not really.  There is more that seriousness in me although i can be easily humored.

2. Is it possible to have a truth without an opinion? Possibly.  But not me.

3. What amount of money would you shave your head for charity? half of my head but the upper hair should not be so that it can still cover the shaved part.   But i really don’t think so i’d go that far to donate for a charity.  Maybe i will if am as famous as Britney or Avril.

4. Do you find it easy to be totally honest with someone even though it might hurt their feelings? Yes especially when the person concerned is being looked down upon or when am in the middle and i am tagged the bad person.   And as always, the truth always hurts.  So be there;s no point of not telling someone the truth.  It’s better to be truthful than pretend til the relationship or frendship turns sour.

5. When people you know are laughing to themselves while reading, do you ask them to share what is funny?  I usually do that and when they do share, i can’t laugh. lol!

6. What stresses you out the most? Many things.  Can’t be counted. hehehe

7. Could you go one full day without speaking? i think i can’t. if i got no one to talk to real, i talk online or chat or on the phone.

8. Would you rather ask the question or answer it? I’d rather answer. Or let’s say it’s situational.

9. What is the one thing that always makes you smile?  A smiling person.  The good mood of persons i encounter daily.

1. If someone expects you to do something you aren’t obligated to do, does that make you want to do it less?  It depends on the situation.

2. Are there any activities, commitments, obligations in your life that instantly put you in a bad mood?
Yeah. Father and Bro going against my wishes.

3. What do other people do that irritate you that you recognize as a weakness in yourself?  Can’t think of any for now. hehehe

4. Do you surround yourself with the friends who like you best? Friends is enough.  The “best” not needed. But if there are bests then it’s fine.  Life is too short to be picky.

5. When you are angry or nervous, how do you calm yourself down?  Go inside my cave if it’s possible.

6. Do you take compliments well?  I think i do but i take things too seriously when i got a bad compliment in a very bad situation or day.

7. Do you think you would have been a different person if you had different parents?  I think so.  Because for sure i’d grow up in a different environment.  Our environment affects much of our personality.

8. Do you change your mind frequently or do you make up your mind about something and stay firm with that position?  when it’s something i really want i don’t change my mind.  But if it’s a situation that calls not only my decision, then i sometimes change mind for the good of the majority.

9. Describe the person that would be the exact opposite of you.  Hmmm i dunno.

10. Are you generally capable of seeing both sides of an argument at the same time?  It depends on the situation.  Because i know that when am hurt, am the most hardhearted and hardheaded person in the world though i can see still see both sides clearly when am not too emotional anymore.  So generally, i can.

- at times.

- personally id say, moderately good. :D  but when i fall inlove things will turn upside down.  others will judge me as the most stupid person on earth.

- Snow White or Cinderella.  They are the first fairy tale characters i first ever heard of in my childhood.

4. How far apart are you from your closest sibling?
- very far!

5. Do you trust your feelings?
- at times. 

6. How much time do you spend with your family per week?
- can’t be counted.  but as much as i can.

7. What do you do if everything seems to be going wrong?
- i hide away but very busy thinking on how to solve the wrong.

8. How do you decide between “right” and “wrong”?
- what’s favorable for others even it’s against my will.

9. Is your personality more like that of your father or your mother?
- my mom i guess.  because she was the only one i saw daily while i was in my growing up years.

10. Do you find blatant burping and farting offensive?
- nope. i even don’t ask who and why.  i just cover my nose or pretend i didn’t pretend i heard any.

In attitude not really.  But for being famous, i wish am Princess Diana or may Sharon Cuneta’s sister.

2. Can you say one nice thing about a person that you do not like the most? What is that?
He is my daddy and for sure my mom did love him that’s why she married him.  (Is that pretty nice description to be said about him na? hehehee )

a happier one. i mean i can smile or write lol even when am in tears. can give smileys even when am angry.  hahaha

5. Life dishes out pain from time to time. We can never tell. Loss of a loved ones, breakup of a relationship, etc. How do you deal with this pain?
Accept and let go and move on.  (easier said than done but it can happen if you want it happen)

6. Are you a leader, follower or loner?
some can see me as a leader but i feel comfortable being a follower or supporter.  Asst. Leader let say. There’s also that part of me that enjoys being alone.

7. Would you rather blend in with the crowd or stand out?
I blend.

8. What do you take pride in? You can brag a little, or a lot more. It’s your day!
Being a single mom to my daughter for 11 years was not an easy thing yet we have lasted until now.  It was not an easy life.  I struggled hard and even struggling now but am still alive and kicking.  The experiences along the way made me into a more stronger and better person. And another thing, i’ve gained weight that many will call ugly fat but hey am not ugly. Am still beautiful as ever. :)  God created all things beautiful.

9. When people pop their gum do you find it annoying?
No.  I never mind them and if am annoyed then i will leave the place.

10. How often do you complain?
Not when i can’t take it anymore. or really it depends on the situation.

1. Do you draw conclusions about what a person might look/act like in real life because of their photos posted on their blogs? Maybe the looks i do but for acts or ways, i can’t conclude.  there are many demure photos of ladies but when u meet them real they are so noisy and funny. other may look strict in pics but in real they are so soft and so friendly.

2. Choose 5 online friends you want to meet in person. And tell us why each one of them.

- Mitch - we’ve been online friends for 5 years now so i think we should have meet already if time and place just allows us. I wanna hear her sing and also take time to play and be with Derelle, her daughter.

- Mommy Ruby - a new found online friend and it’s exciting because she is just out there in Cagayan de Oro.  When we meet, i will let her teach more more about dgscrapping.

- Axinia - i feel she is a person who is not just beautiful outside but also inside.  There is always wisdom in every post she makes in her blog.  I can spend a lot of time staring at her pictures and also if she got photos of herself. So i wanna see if i would do that same if i get to see her.

- Yen - I want to know her morein real and spend some time knowing her lil boys especially the Lil Peanut.

- Era - she’s one of my first blog buddies when i started blogging.  Hope to meet her really when they come home this year.  I wanna hold Jen.

3. When was the last time you climbed a tree? In china.  A pear tree just for picture taking. I don’t like climbing so much. I can climb but i dunno na how to go down.

4. Would you rather be a big fish in a little pond or a little fish in a big pond? Metaphorically.  I can be both though but i think small fish in a big pond would be more relaxing.

5. Do you have any royalty or historically famous people in your ancestry? I dunno any person but my great great grandparents were of the Malay race and were even Datus themselves.  I am 1/2 in bloodline of the Higa-onon tribe that thrived here in Lanao hundreds of years ago.

6. Is it difficult for you to sleep on the “wrong” side of your shared bed? Yeah.
