This is my first for this year 2009. Last week i missed this because of connection and this week i thank for the reminder in my mailbox so am here. I got only 1 thing to toot about this week.  Though i’ve already mentioned this in my weekly round-up but would love to mention it again here.

My sis is now on her 7th month and the ultrasound showed that her EDC will be on March 5.  And the most exciting thing to know is that — it’s going to be a boy!  The baby boy addition in our family causes excitement for all of us.

That’s her tummy last December 25th and here’s a snap of her 4month old fundus.  Funny thing is that i think that she is really huge.  More huge than i was when i was preggy primy.

Though my sis is experiencing a huge loss in love and relationship but she is gaining strenght from the growing life inside her.  She’s a tough one too – i guess tougher than me.

I just want to share that i have done a lil Christmas shopping the last week and this week-end.  My gift for our online exchange gift has also been bought and ready for posting.

Today is the last Tuesday for the year that we will be in work.  Next week whole week until the January 5th is declared holiday by the President of this country.  So next week, Monday to Wednesday we wil be forced to leave from work.  After the Christmas day, we can work if it’s really important.  We will be officially back to work on the 5th of January next year.  So it’s a long long holiday for us.  I just hope i won’t get bored. 

For the kids, this is also their last week in school.  Their class party will be on Thursday and then Friday, no more class and it’s our local holiday, too — another Muslim holiday.    See we are so blessed with sooo many holidays!  We get to spend time with our family at home.

i got a couple of things to be shared here today:

first – my health blog is now approved by PayU2B. Oh paYU2B i love you. Thanks, Margie.

second – i won a bread toaster – my first ever bread toaster in life during our Thanksgiving Celebration Banquet night (Sunday evening). In the 3 years, this is my first time to receive a special door prize. was so happy.

third - i am happy my girl is soon to be over with Chickenpox then she will be immuned forever. Though there were so many growths all over her face and chest, yet she did not have a fever. I incurred medicine charges but it was worth it.

fourth – December is here. Am excited although i really dunno what’s ahead for me.

I will just be sharing one. It’s an experience that unconsciously been looking forward to because it is a situation that i thought will not happen normally.

It is about someone who was once close to my heart. For now, we are not that close anymore (since 1987) but he always have that spot in my heart.    It’s quite hard to imagine that for sometime you are close, then one day, you just go on different ways.  He left me broken hearted in 1987 then smiled again in 1994.  After that shared smile in October 1994, i thought we could be normally friends but no it did not happen that way til our paths cross again last Monday (nov 17 2008).

I have so many things to toot about which happened weeks back and in some daily basis.

Lately, i’ve done quick long distance trips to places which i can tick now as “i’ve been there”.

Another thing is that, me and fourteen more faculty and staff in this college are now certified Education earners and we plan to take the Teacher’s Board soon.  I still have to ask my boss though if we are going to hold some crash review classes before taking the exam.

My daughter is taking more time to study this time.  I am glad she is realizing that she has capabilities so she studies now without telling her too.  I realized that really, people grow.

The last but not the least, my sister is going to have a baby at 35!  It may sound bad for some but we are happy that at least she is going to have one before hitting spinsterhood.

I just don’t like to miss the TT this week as today is the last day of Septmeber 2008.   Time really flies fast.  That am sure october will just be over in a wink of an eye.

There are few things i’d like to toot about this week:

One is two of my PR 0 blogs got a PR 2 lately.  So Mr. G made me happy days ago for that result.  My PR 5 turned PR 4 but at least it did not totally slumped down to zero. 

The next thing is that 5 days ago i won $50 dollars for the posting contest at the Paraiso Philippines Forum site.  That’s already money and i intend that to upgrade my internet connection.

And the last thing is that – my sugar has gone down within the normal value of 102. and my weight is 164 even though i missed gym for more than a month.

Last tuesday as i was posting my entry, i was also learning at the same time a new thing with PS.  I really like to share this because never had I imagine i could do this.  But now i realized that with a little tutoring and a determination to learn, one can really learn.

Thanks to Rhoen for the patience in teaching me the steps to make these picture frames.

–am really happy that i was able to learn this kind of framing.  these were what ive done after the tutorial.  it’s a week ago today.  from time to time, i tried to frame more pics.  i have not yet memorized the steps, so i still look at my notes.

Another thing to make me a happy momma is that last Friday, i picked my daughter’s first grading card in school.  It was not really the high of my standards but still better off then others. She got the highest grade of 95 and the lowest of 91.  I have some doubts if that will still increase or not, but i hope it won’t go down anymore.

It was a good week, TT’s moms.   Hope you too out there!

i asked a friend (Zerisse) on how did she made picture like that (background), then she taught me. it’s just all in photoshop.  Now that erasure scratch, discovered that just yesterday also.

Am glad i got something to be shared this week.  They are little stuff but to me then mean a lot like I made up my own header for my Dancing in Midlife Tune blog.  That blog deserves a new look because it has been blessed by a big hearted sponsor.  It is not perfect but it’s a first work I did to be used for a header thing using Photoshop and also this scrap stuff.  I hope to make some more in the future as i continue to discover the wonders of PS.

Another thing is that ive been blessed by unexpected blessings. Or let’s say i prayed for them and God answered the through them.  There is the sweet girl and also for a big hearted cousin – thanks to you all.  Am so proud of your successes and thanks for sharing them with me even this minutest way.  It means so much a lot.
