Last weekend was a busy one. But on the last day i had the chance to go on city tour. Two places were on the list. The first one was Agus 4 and from there, we went to see Maria Christina Falls, the outlet of the water that runs the hydro power plant which supplies electricity throughout Mindanao and Siquijor island.
It was my fourth visit to Agus 4 in Balo-i but first for my daughter. Though it was my fourth time yet, every visit is a wonderful visit because there’s something new to see. It was my sixth visit to the falls and the last one was in October 2007 during the AHPA Convention also. This time, so much has improved because they converted the entrance into a Nature Park so it means it made the Maria Cristina, the landmark of Iligan City, more accessible to the public.
There is no entrance fee to enter the park but the group must have a valid identification then all can go in.

-Dimple’s first visit there -

- the tourists –

- distant view of the falls -

- the viewing deck -
The convention including the tour officially ended after lunch. Dimple and I went home to the dorm and i guess we slept 3 hours. We were so tired because of the late night before that Sunday.
Monday was still a holiday so it was our time to make a our Christmas tree and belen using materials found in the office. So, we come up to this:

I am glad i made this shot because our tree does not look like this again. My officemate made it into another form and it’s not yet done so i havent’ taken pictures yet. Our belen is not yet done so maybe next OWM i will be sharing it here.
If you decide to visit Iligan City, drop me a line and let me know so that i can bring you to some beautiful spots in Iligan.
I hope everyone is having a beautiful weekend!

It’s been awhile i haven’t done the shopping of vegetables because i really don’t have money for it. If i have a little to spare i just hand it to my mom and let her do the stretching. After the seminar this afternoon, i went to the city to pick up my xoom. Each penny of the money i received is already alotted for many bills but i decided to pick a hundred to buy fish. Fish! It’s been awhile i haven’t eaten or bought fish for home. So i got the hundred and this what i got:

half kilo of Anduhaw @ P35.00

Tomatoes @P10.00/ pack

Lemonsito @ P5.00/pack of (20 pcs)

Okra P5.00 per tapok (20 pcs)

string beans @ P5.00

1 kilo Tamban @ P30.00 (for our cats)
The remaining change, i used it for fare in going home. When i arrived home, i pulled out my goods and took photo of them. I had my dinner then washed the plates, and now am here blogging.

A sharing of photos right out of the camera. No alteration color and hues.

I wish they gonna stay small forever. My baby is now almost a lady but will always be a baby in my heart.

I did not have any exciting weekend photos for the past weeks. My activities happens during the week and the week-end is mostly spent at home. But for the last 2 Sundays, i was at work since the Doctoral class started already.
The photo shared here is of my daughter. The two photos were taken same place, same day, and i think almost same time. hehehe. This was taken last Sunday when they went for an afternoon swim. She loves swimming. And she loves to stay endless hours in the beach. If i enjoyed being at home inside my bedroom, that’s how much she enjoys the outdoors especially the beach or any swimming activity. I am pretty sure she had really a lot of fun because when she arrives home, she sleeps so quick.

The summer is now over. School days is now here. So the thoughts of swimming is pushed back in the mind.
Are the stuff above very familiar?
I wonder why no one wears heels on the way to the pool. hahahaha
My entry looks late but i just had a very busy day!

I had full weekends since last week that’s the reason why i missed posting an entry last Monday. I only discovered it today that our baby cats was one of the featured WS photos last Monday (WS 90). Thank you so much, WS Admin!
As much as i want to feature this week-ends activity I will still use photos taken last week-end because last week-end was also full and memorable.
Saturday my mom was admitted. She had an early mornin attack but was already regulated when admitted that morning.

This is my mom’s first photo that morning. No IV because we did not know that it was not ok to be IV less upon admission. Actually it is ok but we cannot be covered by Phil Health. In the afternoon, when the doctor came to visit, she reordered to have an IV on and the first medicine was given through IV.
She was discharged Monday afternoon and we she received a long list of medicines to treat her ailment. I also thought that needs nutritional health supplements to keep her strong. She knew she needs supplements but at times there are more important things that supplements. Sad.
Saturday 5 pm, Dimple and i left for an overnight invitation to a swimming pool 20 minutes drive from our place. I left cousins to watch over mom for the night as i was coming back the next morning.
So here are some Sunday morning photos:

Dimple in the lats 2 photos with Red2 and Ayen Morente.
More pool photos here.
Around 10 AM we head for home because we have 2 pm practice for the evening’s activity – Choral & Duet Contest. Our group, Golden Falcons got the 2nd place for the choral and our duent comes in the 3rd place. Though we did not come out winner, we all had fun. Here are some photos before we went up the MPH:

Am beautiful no matter what they say! hahahaa

They grey team in their MANG TSUPER piece

The Peach Team in their Kalesa piece. They bagged the first place. I don’t have a photo of our group performingbecause it was all in video mode.
So, it was a full week-end alright!

I thought i can make a leave last Thursday to join the photo shooting my friends did at Naawan. But i missed it because my boss told me there will be an Ad council meeting Thursday but discovered then that meeting can’t push through because of the ISO inspection in the hospital. It was already past 9 am when i knew that there will be no meeting.
I had so much paper works this week but was sort of light when Friday came because i was the only left at work. It was so quiet. Not much transaction was going on so i have to lock the door everytime i have to go to the comfort room to pee. I was trying to make sure i drink at least 8 glasses of water each day and also going to bed at least before 11 in the evening. A friend is laughing at me for the change. But am serious so just to avoid taking weight loss pills like what my friends are taking. well, they are not overweight. They just want to let few pounds go away so they are doing it with pills.
AT the end of last month, i cannot remember i had my period. I blame it on my stress because everytime i am am so overwhelmed with stress, it disrupts my normal cycle. Luckily the other day it arrived when i was almost to decide am going to see a Gyne or a check-up. So i woke up wiht a very bad headache this morning even then i decided to attend church and i was able to witness a baptism of 6 precious souls.

It rained some days this week and Thursday night i cooked some miswa soup with vegemeat balls using soybean pulp.

Our cat’s kitties one by one came out to civilization. They were born up in the ceiling and the first one to come out is a very black one that i fondly call the kitty “Abat” (witch) lol! It can’t be seen at night. Promise. hehehe Then days later, another came down and Friday they were completely together. Poor them because their mom don’t have enough milk anymore so as of now they eat rice. So we have to move them out of our backdoor area for hygienic reasons.

Now I really dunno if they gonna stay with us forever. They are just too many for our care so maybe they will be exiled in a far away place unless someone will ask them for a pet. The two did not bath ever yet but the black — had its first bath this afternoon because her eyes were covered with muta. I plan that tomorrow she will be bathed again.
Yen is stil on vacation so maybe she will make her wklyround-up later. But check out her blog for new updates.

Some of our fowls roaming in the space of our home to the side of the road. There are 3 mother hens now with little chicks and we hope that they gonna grow up and have babies too. Many times i told my mom to stop raising chickens but mom is having second thoughts because these mother hens are giving us fresh eggs.
This photo was taken week-end afternoon when it was showering. They relax at that spot to avoid the rain because they might get sick.

As usual was at work everyday the whole week except Friday. I think i missed the Thursday morning devotional. It was some kind of a busy week. Tuesday, the College Board Meeting was held at the accreditation room so i failed to help the people at the kitchen preparing for the food. The front desk just can’t be left without anyone there.
Friday, May 1, 2009 was a non-working holiday. Unfortunately, there was no electric power beginning 8 am that day. I slept at 5 am already because of the no-work Friday so when i woke up there was no more electric power. I asked dimple if she likes us to go to the beach or maybe we will go to the pool. But since the bridge bombing, the original route is not yet back.
A girlfriend texted me that we meet up in the city to catch and at the same time i will hand her some documents, so i agreed. I tag Dimple along because i know that in the mall it would be cooler. I was right it was really cool out there. We spent more than 4 hours just roaming around the mall. What often interest me when am at the mall are digital cameras — are they one sale or how much they cost and the brand. Below are some photos of the cameras i saw:

YOu can pick the one that you like best. ok?
Saturday i met up with a highschool classmate at the hospital Annex 207. Her darling youngest baby was sick. Came home almost 9 in the evening. It feels nice to catch up with friends once in awhile.
That morning, Dimple did this:

She put on the shoelace in her running shoes and also fitted on my size 7 heels given by my aunt in 2006. But since it does not fit me anymore i gave it to her for future use. But i guess future can’t wait. She will wear it maybe anytime soon. Oh no, my little baby can now wear a 3 inches heels?
am sad and happy at the same time. How time flies!
Today, Sunday, i was at work because there was a class for the doctoral class. Today was a big day for majority of Filipinos who witnessed the Pacman-Hitman fight in Las Vegas. To make the story short, Pacman won not long after it started. I have not watched the show but the shouts and glee of the people in the 4th floor meant that Pacman won.
I decided to check out this golf training aids because the Goma cup i saw on TV last night was very interesting. Maybe if Manny P will retire from boxing, he can consider golf.
Yen made a WR entry this week.

If you have read my post here, i mentioned that i had a pedi after more than a month.
I was so happy have it done after quite a long time. I took this photo while at church Saturday morning. To keep me sort of awake coz of the heat, i have to keep holding my phone and was tempted to take this shot. And this shot was really intended for WS.
As of my guessing game last week, no one got the right answer so the 500 ec points is still with me. The answer to that is MALUNGGAY FLOWERS or the MOringa flowers. I just tried to google it and great wiki got a photo of the it.
