Since the third floor of the Annex building has started operating as a clinical area, the nurses in their new scrubs makes the environment very patient friendly.  The unit coordinator spent some time to scout for cheap medical scrubs and thanks to the internet they have found what they like to have.

Now the third floor is ongoing the renovation and for sure before the year ends it will start its operation.    No specific month yet but for sure before the year ends.  So some more nurses will be deployed to the 4th floor as as early as now they want to decide on what type of cloth they will get for a new set of nursing scrubs suits.  I told them about cherokee nursing uniforms or cherokee scrub tops .  I told them to check on it if they like it.  The coordinator told me that she will tell me a week later after their departmental meeting.  The thing is that some of the nurses that will be assigned there is not around yet.  But even then, the coorinator told me that they will decide on the style a month or two before the 4th floor starts its service.

I have checked out the blue sky scrub site and i love the color and styles of the scubs they are promoting.    Since these nurses are not yet on regular status in their employment so as much as possible they wanna to check on affordable or cheap nursing scrubs .  Cheap yet dainty and presentable.  There are nice cloths that costs cheap but the goodness of the cloth will last for some months.  I meant that not the disposable type.

How i wish am a nurse so that i can avail of these wonderful nursing scrubs.

As i’ve mentioned yesterday in my post, we have a team of visitors from different places like  Luzon and from Maryland, USA. They are here to inspect all the departments and even the support departments if we came up to the international standards. Today, there is also a Board of Trustees meeting in Cagayan de Oro so the big bosses are not here. The in-charge to check on the financial side needs to see some documents but the big boss is not here so we have to call the next person down the line. I said to myself that accounting jobs are just for accounting people thus they are the one to answer accounting questions.

You are above the trends. It’s a philosophy that has carried you through the horrors of high school, the frustrations of a career. You have wasted no time seeking out designer whims or seasonal treats. You have always chosen what you wanted and what you knew would flatter. 3. Avoid the outrageous: Polka dots and crossbones, metallic shine and patchwork: children’s clothing can be a tribute to the wild and the wonderful. On you, however, it can seem like a distraction. When wishing to accessorize outfits, look for adult details — such as ruffles, lace and drapery. The purpose is to appeal, not to rebel.

You live for your child. You should not, however, live through them with questionable fashion choices. Celebrate your age and your figure by smart selections and a sensible approach. You can have a style of your own — without borrowing it from your teen.

My friend newly arrival friend in the states was talking about the “lot” of bills that they have to pay up every month.  She said that yes their salary is way way way higher than what they get here in the Philippines but their bills to pay every month is much too.  She said that they don’t have any unnecessary bills.  The bills that they are going to pay the next month are necessary ones and that include many insurances.  Talking of insurance then, i told her to check on health insurance in nc because it might be lower in monthly premiums compared to what she have now. She said she will check on it and will update me later.

I am late of current events since yesterday because we don’t have any access to TV in the office nor in the dormitory.  This is one of the times that i wish am staying at  home.  I could have accessed it on lives streaming, oh well, thanks to the internet connection at 10 mbps. =)  Anyway, i got the full information of what transpired in Manila from my office mate and am sad it happened but i know this shall pass and soon everythnig will just be back to normal.

Awhile back am tasked to browse for car insurance quotes .  There are many insurance quotes available but the boss wants one that is very affordable.   Last year, his son was able to pick a car insurance that suited well with his budget and he wants just like that.

Yesterday, one of my former office mates enjoyed a product demonstration.  Two product agents came into the office promoting their product. I guess they did good in their sales talk that Ma’am Ruby took time to listen to them and cooperated during the product demo.  It is not always a chance for her to give time to listen to : promotional products because she is a very busy person. But yesterday, since the product promotes good health, she went into the demo and after 15 minutes, she felt so relieved that she was sleepy right away.

She said the product is good but the price will give her a high blood pressure. It was just too expensive – not a priority for the time being. Maybe next time.

I’ve seen many elementary, kinder, and nursery schools around here and one thing i observed was that they lack a spacious area. An wide area where the kids can run and play.  OUr little kids needs to out in the sunshine and play.  There is one school not far from here that has a swing set but not the wooden swing sets that is sale online now. Some parents saw the picture and they thought it is wonderful to buy these type of toys for little kids, but they lack the space. Others also told me that it’s too far to make an order. I will try to check it out if it’s available in the Philippines.

Indoor playground is great for kids safety but exposure in the sunshine and fresh air will do good for our little children.

I don’t understand why babies are given lots of toys that babies outgrow them so fast.  We have now a boxful of toys for the youngest in the family – Baby Gab.  Some are already worn out and some are still in good shape.  He is at the age when he still does not know to take care of the toys.  At times he plays them on the floor with other toys or at times, he throws it like a stone, or at times, bit on them like they are cookies.  When he enjoys biting on them, i right away think of the lead content of that certain toy. How i wish we have a lead test kit so that we can just try to check on the lead content of the toys that are given to him. Lead is not bad when it’s on a regulated amount. But when it’s too much, it will lead to future abnormalities in kids.

So parents? Be cautious of the toys you buy for your kids. Be sure it is safe for them to play with.

The president of the Central Student Union of this college is one of our boys in the dormitory.  He confessed the other night that he was so stressed out already for two weeks.  So stress that he is missing his meals and even have less sleep in the night.  If it can just be, he won’t sleep so that all the plans and preparations will be done accordingly.   Although he had nicely done the delegation, but still stress won’t leave him.  He is still to oversee everything, you know.  I bet it was his associates or the guys next to him who did the shopping in one of the wholesale lots in the neighboring city. They just need so much stuff for giveaways to winners (aside from the points) and also to those officers (CSU and COP) who worked hard to make this opening program a success!

So a week of freeing their minds from their books and medical paraphernalias! Goodluck to all who will play and perform this week!

It’s another Pasingot time!

It’s another week that the students of MSH College look forward to.  Why?  They just like to play and perform and come to school in their casual attire.  At least for this week, they do away with their white uniforms.

I wish i have a camera to capture the sports and social moments of the students these semester.    Their decoration is not so lavish but it’s very beautiful.  The program will begin in awhile amidst the showers from heaven.  Hopefully it won’t rain hard.
