My boss is selling his current vehicle and plan to buy a new one. His current one can comfortably seat 9 persons and the new model he is contemplating to buy will not contain 9 or more persons. But he joked that they are back to honeymoon stage so they don’t need a big car. So for the past two days he’s been checking out the car prices here in town and also the nearby Cagayan de Oro City. Well well, all i can say is that if he can’t find the exact color of his current vehicle then he should buy something that is dark blue or dark green.
I really wonder when i can buy my own car. Wishing wishing wishing on a star!
Our office received a circular that there will be a job fair in a nearby town next week. There will be job opportunities for nursing graduates, med tech graduates, and also chances for skilled workers. The circular reminded me of the Cleveland job search my cousin saw while browsing online. She shared with someone living near the Cleveland area and it looks like it’s a big help.
The weekend next weekend will be the 15th closing exercises of our school and there will be an almost 300 students who will be graduating. Am sure there would be a number of thousands that will be graduating this march from all over the country. So I am hoping that this job fair can help them.
March 9, 2010 – it was Baby Gab’s first birthday. We had a simple celebration last night and there were just so much kids my home was filled with kids, moms, aunties, and uncles. There were lots of photos taken by my camera and my cousin’s camera. But because of poor lighting fixtures in the dining area, some of my photos are not so nice. I hope to grab a copy of those taken by the other camera.
Although, here is one of my favorite photo of me and Gab. -

Since I am now staying in the dorm, i don’t see him daily na. So when i see him, i like to carry him and make faces at him. Good thing he comes to me without fuss.
I will be posting more birthday pics in the next entry.
Send someone an email – maybe a long one. Pick up some groceries for my nephew’s birthday tomorrow. Check out one of the best best acne treatments that is not so strong for the kind of facial skin my daughter got. The puberty stage has really hit my daughter hard on the face that i sense it’s not a small problem. Her pimples as big as acne looks so horrible that i want her to be treated. Check out flight fares for May 18 and May 23 – Cagayan de Oro to Manila and vice versa.
Next thing i will do after that is also update my other blogs and also visit virtual mvc, which i haven’t visited in a long time. Work and blogging really took my time that i failed to visit that site. Good thing virtual mvc is now on facebook.
Oh i need to order some puto, too! So i have to call up my sis to bring the money here in the office.
There is one department here in school whose computers are connected to the internet through the wireless system. They thought that if they are using wireless, they are not prone to internet bugs. So they did not check on the latest wireless security systems because they thought they are safe. How wrong they are because last Tuesday, 4 of their computers crashed down and the reason is that their connection was not protected. As of the moment, the pc being fixed and hopefully it will be back on the system soon to expidite work.

This is one of the first postcards i received in my life. My sister and I got this when we were in the 4th grade, 25 years ago.
The sender was one of our close friends who moved to California that year.
Since then, i got interested in collecting postcards.
The postcards made me see the world beyond my own world.
I should be off to the gym in awhile. I don’t want to because i want to finish some online tasks but i really have to. It’s been awhile since the last time i was at the gym. Yesterday was a busy afternoon, so i did not get the time to walk or bike even just 30 minutes.
One of my friend introduced me to a new weight loss product but i told her that she uses it first then if the outcome is good then i will try it myself. I know that each one has a different system reaction to weight loss products but this one she is using now is doing great for her. She still got half of the supply to go then hopefully we can see the effect.
When I arrived in the office this morning, I was greeted by a phone call. It was the post office worker telling me I got 3 cards to be picked up! 3? That’s really a wow! I am not sure if all of them are from postcrossing but even if not, I am just excited that my collection is growing.
Days ago, February 14 exactly, I was informed through email that my card that heed off to United States last February 3 arrived. The receiver was Diana Woods and she included this note:
“Thank you so much! This is the first card I’ve received from the Philipines. My daughter’s boyfriend is Filipino, so she hopes to visit there soon and meet his family there.
Have a great day!
Diana”
This is the card that I sent her and it’s up in her postcard gallery, so i took the liberty of grabbing it.

More personal photo crossings updates here.
The Pinoy Big Brother Big Night is coming up at the Ninoy Aquino stadium and I am sure thousands of people will flock there. There are lots of PBB fans that would like to watch the big night live. But for those who hates the crowd, then they will just be under the mercy their big tube at home or the small celphone tv wherever they are. I then wonder what would be their type of crowd control. I bet they have ordered a lot of stanchions to help them do the control.
What are stanchions? They are the cord you can see guiding you in crowded business areas. I’ve seen a lot of this in organized places and yes, in big concerts. You can also see them in the entrance of big buildings of private companies and in the malls where the line for men and women are separate for bag inspection and body inspection. They are simply called stanchions. I thought they are just simple called crowd rope or cord.

I was at the bank Thursday and Friday last week for an errand and there were so many people. Good thing BDO uses stanchions and some offices uses the velvet rope which i sometimes find in very formal restaurants. Crowd control such as these prevents insertions which can lead to crowd fight because if you have stayed long in line and someone inserts because he or she is in a hurry. Good for those who are kind but there are just those who are unkind people who just simply get in the middle of the line and would be mad if being reprimanded.
A barricade is another means to control a big crowd. This one is being used to vehicular traffic, people flow especially if it’s a big crowd and human contact is being discouraged to happen between the public and prominent people such as president of a country. I saw these portable barricades in arrival area of the airports.
Since this is a love month, there will be many concerts that will attract people. So I am confident that each organizers are conscious of security so they are going to use these different kinds of crowd control.
ay in words din pala. I promised nights ago in this post, that I will be posting photos the next day. But other matters caught up my time so i just had the chance to upload minutes back. And here are some of the photos i personally took.

We, Ma’am Apple, Tisay and myself from MSH and MSHC were one of the early birds (first was St. Peter’s College) so we had the chance to have a picture taking with the ever active president and speaker of the night, Ms. Cleo Mascardo.

Tisay and Ma’am Apple so happy with their early bird gift.
I got mine, too and i took a shot of it together with the group game prize:

Look at the bird image in the notebook. That’s what we got as “early birds” hehehe. Pasta jud pagka bird.

Group photo before we dispersed.
The Iligan Chapter got a Facebook account already and i requested for an add because the email i used in the registration is my non-FB email account.
