WS – At Pacman’s Mansion

It’s been awhile i’ve been thinking on sharing these pics on WS but did’t do yet so am doing it now.  This happened last week-end of October 2008.

I felt proud in a way that i’ve stepped into Manny Pacquia’s mansion in General Santos City.  Though we were not ushered into the halls of the mansion but at least we were inside the gate and spend sometime in their big receiving area facing their swimming pool.

that’s another building inside the compound. i think below is his garage and upstairs his sports area.
his pool is formed like a boxing glove.

since Pacman was not around during our visit, we took the liberty of taking photos of him using the photos in his viewing gallery.  Got one of myself and more of mansion pictures  here.

one of the skies i took weeks back.  I will never forget the sky view from Sarangani Highlands. :)

PH – Blue

We were at the General Santos City Wharf the other Sunday and it was a very hot clear day.  Great time to picture the view and the skies.  But it was so hot that i decided not to get off our service van.  But my daughter, wanted to get off and i let her carry the camera, and these are some of her shots – The end of the blue boat.

More pics here:

i think it has a dirty face. hehehee

that dirty water from the boat flows out into this crystal blue waters of the Gen San wharf.

Happy Photo hunting everyone!

This is a late post but at least, it’s better late than never eh.

I Made It There!

As i mentioned last week, i’d like to say big thank you to the admin of Paraiso Philippines for giving me the chance to join the 2nd Mindanao Bloggers Summit last week-end in General Santos City.  It was a memorable experience and made me think that in the next summits to come, i should take the time to attend.  Thank you too for sponsoring the one way gas expense of one of the speakers in the person of Mr. Bobby Timonera that enabled Dimple to tag along with me or else if i have taken the bus, she can never come along.

It was my first time to join the convention.  The first summit was held in Davao last year but i didn’t heard about that one besides from the fact that i just  started blogging around that time.   The theme of the convention was”"Mindanawon Paminawon Intawon: Blogging the Mindanao Consciousness.” Each speaker shares informations that can be a useful in improving one’s blog.    In short, i can say that everyone in the big room agrees that there are many things Mindanao can show to the world more then bad news and bombings.

Aside from the inspiring thoughts and tips of all speakers, one of the unforgetable happening out there is that, i made friends with most bloggers who are out there.  I have a long list of blogs to be visited and i hope to visit them one by one as soon as i got the time.   I was also able to pose with most of the speakers and am gonna post more of my pics in my Photoblog, if not tonight, the soonest.

I grabbed this program in JPEG file from Lainy’s blog as i want to share it here.  Lainy was part of the secretariat of the event and we end up chatting during the Tuna Cocktail.  She shared with me some good tips on how to earn more with my blogs and i hope i can apply it to myself soon.  Here’s the program.

Here are some proofs of my attendance: “:)

- @ 7:30 i was already at the site.

- my E-pass. Got it Thursday afternoon.

- because i made it early to the site, i was rewarded this Word Camp T-shirt. And am so happy, it fits Dimple in a fashionable way.  So that became hers right away.

- me w/ my kit & the secretariat -

- dimple w/ the youngest blogger present (14 y.o.)

Few more Days to Go…

and i will be off on a trip to attend the 2nd Mindanao Bloggers Summit.  This will be my first time and I can imagine i will be meeting so many bloggers out there.  Still up to now,  i haven’t find any of friends in my list that are going but even then, i know i will find many bloggers out there.  It is also good to know that one of the resource speakers will be from Iligan City in the person of Bobby Timonera.  I haven’t meet him ever yet but i heard his name through my photographer friends.

In preparation of the trip, Mitch has already sent me the flyers promoting Paraiso Philippines and i will be printing them out anytime this week.  She sent me too something to be given as surprise to some people i should meet there and Bariles (Avel) will be one of them.

My leave form has been signed already as my boss will be leaving on Monday for Manila and will be away for the whole week.

Yey am so excited!  Wish anyone i know here can go. :)
