Weekly Round-up {Oct 13 – 19}

That is Monday to Sunday of last week.

Some of the things i did last week was already forgotten but i know it was quite a busy week.  At work and at home things to do occupied my week.

Monday – RQUAT (CHED Personnel) came to visit for the final inspection of the School of Education papers.  The did the inspection of documents here in the office so they also had lunch here.  I ended up washing the plates and everything after their meal.  The good thing is that the Gen Ed Dept Head ordered the food from outside, so the thing i did was just prepare the place and prepare the  things to be used.  Since Sunday night i slept so late (insomnia)  i went to bed around 8 pm this night.

Tuesday - my day started at 4 am.  Got up to cook spaghetti as my sis was arriving via San Paulo of the Negros Navigation.  The boat docked at 5:30 but we arrived at the pier around past 6 am.  She was already out of the terminal building with all her stuff.  She cried when she saw us and hugged each one of us.  The last time we saw her was in November 2006.  Me, my mom, my daughter, and two aunts (mom’s sister and also a cousin) went to the pier to fetch her.  Dimple missed school this day because she want to be with her tita.

i really want to miss work this day but i can’t because I had to help the food preparation in the office because there would be a welcome dinner right after the Ad Council meeting.  So that was it.  It was a long day that day and when i got home, slept after an hour or two.  I was real tired.

Wednesday - i remember we went night swimming.  I thought of going to the market after office hours but then my aunt invited me and my family to go swimming.  My mom did not go but me and my sister , my daughter and some neices and a nephew went along. We swam at Miramar and it costs 50/head.  Since we were not able to prepare food, I let dimple grab 2 cans of sardines.  My aunt had the rice.  I also bought worth 50 pesos of bread at 2 pesos per pc.

Thursday - i think it was a normal day. hehehe

Friday – after work, i brought my sister along with me to the city to check out Trendline’s home gallery so that she can pick the right cabinet for her.  We saw one but money is not enough so we have to come back after Saturday.

Saturday – i was home all day.  Never even gone out in the evening.  I was waiting for someone eh.  But never came and i was upset i slept the whole afternoon after i took a bath.  So in the evening, i can’t sleep anymore.  I started doing the laundry at 12 and at exactly 2 am am done.  I was tired but glad to see my hamper empty. wehehehe.  After talking with Sir Admin of Paraiso Philippines, I went to sleep.

Sunday - i was so sleepy when my phone rang at 6:30.  A teacher requests me to come to the office right away because they need the LCD projector that was in the care of the CFO.  I just brushed my teeth, chaged my clothes, and walked to the office.  If i was not awaken that time, i could have slept until 8 am as my class won’t start at 9 am.

The educ class paper work was real hard because it was statistics and am very poor at it.  Although some words or terms are familiar but the thing is that i don’t memorize the meanings and even forgot the formulas.  So i answer my work based on my classmate’s solution. hahahha  We were done at 12 noon.  Had lunch with girlie at the college cafeteria and then i hitched a ride to the city.  I have to purchase the cabinet for my sistah.

I went to bed around 9 pm last night and watched Sex and the City movie before i could sleep.  I enjoyed the movie til the end and then fall asleep right away when it was done.

Looks like a full week no?

Thanks for the invitation, Yen and i decided to use this blog for this Monday meme.

Here’s mine: June 16-22, 2008

The week-days were not really so eventful because they are just usual workdays. Although I feel that the Friday was the busiest because there was the Research Meeting headed by my VP-AA boss and the end of the meeting was the lunch. For lunch, i was tasked to turbo grill 5 kilos of tilapya and that i did just within the office. – the turbo thing beside my printer. Coz even i was grilling, i can also do office stuff. hahaha. 1 pm that same day was scheduled as the first in-Serfive meeting for the academic year 2008-2009 and i was late because I had to clean up the place before joining the faculty and staff. I finally was on my way home past 4 pm Friday afternoon when usually it is 3 pmor 3:30 the most.

Saturday it was a rainy morning and even windy and yet i decided to go to church. The messages and songs were truely uplifting. Before i went out of the house, i managed to shot some wet flowers:

When i got home, i went to kill time online until i felt drowsy. And so i napped for two hours. Before the sunset, one of my gfs texted methat we will go out…so we went out. Before leaving the house, i managed to let my girl took a candid shot of me and also me of hers with our one and only miming.

Saturday evening was real fun with friends. Though i didn’t sing much butit was my first time to sing solo using a mic (not that it’s my firsttime ever but i don’t like using mic.) but my new friends encouraged me that it would just be ok. so i sang – two of the carpenters song. It ws my first time to be in a KTV here in the Philippines. hehehe

Sunday – spent the day at work. Because i arrived so late the night before, i got up late and ended up late in coming to work. I was called to work because there were some teachers from far away places who came to enroll in the masteral/doctoral program of CPU and as well as those teachers who wanted to enrol 12 units Religion subjects. They are teachers who graduated from non-Adventist colleges and universities but teaching in Adventist schools. it was sort of a requirement for them.

Well, all in all i can say the whole week was ok. Though emotion was like a roller coaster somtimes up sometimes down yet, it was a good week.
