Last week, my 4 month old nephew was admitted due to very high temperature. Tests showed he got UTI. I spent my time almost whole day Friday and evening of Saturday (whole night) while Dimple in school cooked some vege recipe during the culmination of the Nutrition Week. 
He can be an energetic and noisy babe when his temperature is normal. When am the one with him i always keep his arms with the IV away from him. I can giggle watching him putting anything (everything) he can hold inside his mouth.
An hour later after this shot, his temperature rose up to 42 and he was really restless and got a sound that really tells us he is not feeling well.
In school, my daughter’s class were divided into some group and they were told to cook the food (viand) they like to eat for lunch. My daughter’s group is composed mostly of girls and many wanted to eat vegetables so they brought fresh vegetables with them.

Dimple being the leader of the group was only tasked to bring kitchen utensils and the firewood. She proudly told me that she cooked (sautee) eggplant and string beans:
- garlic in the heated oil then followed by the vegetables.
when i saw this photo in the camera and saw water i asked her if she put in the water after putting in the vegetables. she said yes and i told her to correct it next time. i told her to put in water after the vegetables are partly cooked.
I asked her if it tasted nice and she proudly said nice because they used Magic Sarap! hahaha. She said that she wanted to bring some for me for a taste but her classmates loved it so none was left.
Well, it does not matter. I was able to taste their noodle soup with malunggay and eggs. It tasted very nice only to discover they have used up all the seasoning powder plus magic sarap. Ohh my gawd, i told her, yeah the simple viand tastes so heavenly but it will cause us to die early. hahaha

I guess this is the first for the new year 2009 and i just don’t like to miss it. Yesterday, i wanted to catch up with Yen’s weekly round-up but before i could post, the power went off and came back early evening, meaning whole afternoon yesterday i was here in teh office almost doing nothing becuase there was no electric power.

My pc at home is crushed…am at the internet bar now. I have encoded more than 800 words 2 times already and yet it was not saved. Oh well i got tired. I just want to tell you all that i can’t blog from home now (it depends though if it will be done reformatting in an hour or two) but i doubt…
Am at the internet bar now and i think i got more than thirty minutes to be here. I hate myself now for losing quite a long entry.
Am back at work today – that’s good news! Am so happy to be back. I feel the 2 weeks was like 2 years of now work. Grrr i don’t like it. Wish i had those 2 weeks spent somewhere, climbing a hill or a mountain, trekking the river on foot..and many adventures to do. I guess daily napping for 5 hrs at home is no fun at all. hahahaa Unless maybe if i worked with no sleep for a week then hrs nap daily for a week will sound exciting.
There was IC at work today but was out at 11 and came back at 4pm just ontime when my boss asked me to go with him to visit a friend who underwent D & C yesterday. We were sad of the loss but maybe that was the best. She lost it due to chicken pox vaccination. Poor baby. It was 12 weeks.
Now am off to join Monday Music meme. Oh i will miss weekly round-up this week again and the week-end snapshot. But if IC will be ok tomorrow i hope to catch up.
That’s the new year. I forgot the exact time i woke up but for sure we slept very late. Dimple and i slept at the early hours of January 1, 2008. Because even after watching some fireworks, we went back online to surf for more chinese songs.
I started my morning with a coffee and walk over to my aunt’s home. There i chatted with them, ate their food (left overs of the night). I was full. hahahaa. The went home to watch a movie of Claudine and Piolo Pascual afterand when Dimple woke up almost noontime, we watched the Got 2 Believe in Magic.
I declaired the day as PC Holiday – The pc should not be turned on the whole day. As a treat for the computer because these days it’s not only me who is using this but also Dimple spent much time here if am not online. So i think if the pc can talk – she would tell me her thanks. hehehe. That is the reason i got no post for the January 1, 2009. I could have come online last night after dinner but i have to stick to my declaration of “no pc use” So i spent time watchng TV.
To those who greeted me for the new year through text messages – thanks. I was not able to text back the 31st evening because until yesterday morning, my phone has ran out of funds. But your greetings made me smile. Thanks and may all of you too have a start of the year.
It’s still new year now — so happy new year! Am now going to work full time updating all blogs so, it’s gonna be a long hours here on pc and am sure Dimple will be aihehehehe oh well – mommy will always be the winner. hahaha
So how did you spent your first day of January? WAs it exciting, very exciting, or just simply relaxing?
After cooking the Biko last Dec 31st, i killed the time again by watching another movie. It was a relaxing day. It was not pressured to do more cooking because i have already told people around i won’t cook for the new year. So after getting fresh cooking, i went to bed for a short nap. Dimple loves me getting a nap because she can have the pc all to herself.
In the evening, i cooked 2 simple recipes – Vege caldereta, and vege bihon. We bought 4 loaves of bread to be paired with the bihon. If am not cooking, or sleeping, one can find me in front of the TV — so it can’e be avoided that i get to think waht those TV announcers says for the new year – what to expect and what not to expect. I don’t believe in them but yet i bought 8 kinds of fruits. hahahaa. I wore white in the evening because it;s the color for my year. We didn’t eat anything that has “black seeds” in them. WE did not even eat chicken. hahhaha Mom was angry because the kids would love to have some chicken but i told them no way.
The astrologers said that there are some businesses that will fail this 2009 but there are also those who will be successful inspite of the crisis. My aunt is thinking of opening up her food business again in the center of the city. The rent of the place and the manpower can eat much the capital but she believes that it wll thrive. Another one decides on a Lending Business. He thinks that in this year of crisis, this kind of business thrives. I then put in that no matter what would be their type of business it can thrive as long as they have the best marketing management like B2B Lead Generation. Marketing Dept is an important part of a company or business. Sluggish marketing strat may put a business at risk in some ways. At Lead Dogs, they guide you from the beginning til every step of the way. They are not just overlookers but they guide. Check it out – it might be a good thing for your kind of business.
I spent the last hours of DEc 31, 2008 listening to chinese music in you tube. I have discovered my favorite singers and songs in you tube. I even recorded 3 songs in my phone. So maybe it is a sign that 2009 will be a China year for me. Hmm i dunno. But the words of a friend kept ringing in my ear – if you want to, find means, work hard on it, then for sure you can make it. Oh well, i got 3 months to work out all these plans.
